Eren didn’t waste time explaining.
He closed his eyes and tapped into his Elder Ichor Bloodline, triggering another transformation on top of his Titan Transformation.
The butcher’s black hair turned white, and his eyes took on a distinct shade of blue. While traces of gold still lingered, hinting at his Titan heritage, they were no longer dominant.
Mysterious runes slithered across his bare torso and back like living serpents. His aura shifted, becoming more dominant and otherworldly. Just one look at him was enough to send a shiver down one’s spine—Eren did not belong to Labh Salem.
But it wasn’t just that he had been born in another world, coming here from Anfang. No, it felt as if he didn’t belong to any mortal world at all. He carried the presence of an Immortal Being—one who should have his own Immortal Domain, a private space outside the bounds of any known mortal realm.
"If you have any doubts about me being your brother, I’ll clear them right now. Don’t you feel the Bloodline Resonance, elder brother?"
Eren asked with a light smile, his glowing eyes locked onto the sea monster.
His transformation had triggered something within the sea monster. A strange sensation stirred deep within its heart and soul, an unexplainable connection to Eren.
To intensify the effect, Eren pushed his Elder Ichor Bloodline further.
Thankfully, his Titan Bloodline did not resist. This was his first time activating two powerful bloodlines at once. Though they didn’t merge, they also didn’t clash. Like oil and water, they remained separate yet coexisted within the same vessel—Eren’s body.
When Eren stimulated his Elder Ichor Bloodline, the Seven Sins Domains subconsciously erupted from him at the center. His rich demonic heritage was laid bare for all to see. Even without intending to, he created a suffocating and eerie atmosphere, especially for Marina and Azurea.
’This man… so the Titan Transformation wasn’t the only trump card he was hiding.’
Marina murmured to herself while maintaining a stoic expression. Although she had firsthand experienced Eren’s demonic heritage, this was her first time realizing its true depth.
She had been surprised too many times in the past few hours. As a result, she had finally learned to control her emotions and not let them overwhelm her.
Azurea was in the same boat as her sister.
In fact, at this point, she had stopped blaming Marina for losing to Eren. With so many advantages stacking up in his favor, it was no wonder her elder sister had been defeated. Even as a mere Grandmaster Ranker, Eren was just as dangerous as Shir, an S-Rank entity and a God Spark bearer.
Rather, something made Azurea feel that Eren was even more dangerous. If he was already this strong when he was a Grandmaster, how much would he grow after crossing the barrier for the S-Rank?
"You… you are indeed my brother," the sea monster finally admitted.
The Bloodline Resonance of such an ancient and Immortal bloodline couldn’t be faked. Having extensive knowledge about bloodlines, the sea monster had no choice but to accept that Eren was telling the truth.
"Keke. Now you get it? Why would I lie?" Eren said, stepping forward.
"After all, it was I who disrupted the seal-strengthening ritual organized by the Raashim Temple to free you. I was the one who stopped that man, Shir, from locking you up for another decade.
I went to war with those bastards for my elder brother. Wasn’t it also I who finally broke the barrier and welcomed you first?" he asked with a smirk.
When Azurea heard Eren’s words, she couldn’t help but curse him for his shamelessness. He was twisting the truth to fit his own narrative. Hadn’t he been planning to abandon everyone on Baga Island earlier when he realized the sea monster was about to be released due to the ritual’s failure?
Who was Eren kidding when he claimed he had established enmity with the Raashim Temple for the sea monster’s sake? He had indeed interfered with the ritual to create chaos and take advantage of the situation.
However, freeing the sea monster had never been his actual goal. In fact, he had preferred that the Raashim Temple’s core members remain preoccupied with the ritual so he could overwhelm the rest and successfully execute his siege.
Yet now, he was painting a picture of himself as a selfless savior, making it seem as if he had risked everything for the sea monster’s well-being. In reality, he had only benefited from the chaos.
’Haah! This man… Eren… Does he really think the sea monster will believe his nonsense?’
Azurea scoffed, looking at him with contempt. She despised those who hid behind schemes and deception. As a dragoness, she preferred dealing with things in a direct and straightforward manner. Hearing Eren’s blatant bullshittery only deepened her dislike for him.
However, Azurea had never considered the possibility that the sea monster would actually fall for Eren’s words. She knew he suffered from some form of psychosis, which had driven him to go berserk in the past—attacking not only his enemies but even her and her sister who could be considered as his acquaintances in the past.
The sea monster hadn’t been the sharpest mind when he was caught in the Raashim Temple’s trap. However, he wasn’t outright foolish enough to trust just anyone. Surely he could not fall in Eren’s obvious trap, right?
What Azurea didn’t realize was that the Immortal Artifact had gradually drained his thousands of years of mature awareness and emotional intelligence over time. That’s why she was utterly shocked when she heard his next words.
"I… I see. I… thank brother for his help," the sea monster said with hesitation.
Though he wasn’t entirely comfortable calling a complete stranger his brother, for some reason, he didn’t find the idea entirely repulsive either.
More importantly, he noticed that the subtle pressure on his Soul Space—caused by his forced link with the Immortal Artifact—had significantly lessened when he acknowledged Eren as his brother. It was as if the artifact itself silently approved of their bond.
Not to mention, Eren said he had played a huge role in setting the sea monster free. The feeling of indebtedness was felt strongly by the sea monster’s childish mind.
