BW special - Got enough handshake tickets?
“Next one please.”
I began to move forward, led by the staff. I raised my feet, went up the intricately built stage, and it was soon my turn.
“Hello!”
And the target said to me with a beaming smile.
“Thank you for attending Yui-nya’s handshake meet...eh, Kimizuka-san, what are you doing?”
“Oy Super Idol. Why the long face now? Don’t abandon your professionalism.”
Yep, I arrived at the handshake meet of Yui-nya, Yui Saikawa. It’s promotion for her new song.
“Eh, Kimizuka-san...are you, a true love fan?”
“What true love fan? Actually, how do I put it? I’m just wondering how you’re feeling after that. Just having a look.”
Three days passed since the Sapphire incident. I was worried about Saikawa...but looking at her, it seemed I worried too much.
“Kimizuka-san, do you know of a proverb? ‘Yesterday’s fan is today’s trouble’.”
“There’s no such concept even in ancient China, alright?”
“I messed up. ‘Yesterday’s Prince is today’s Kimizuka’.”
“Don’t use my name as an antonym of personalities here.”
“Ah, it’s about time.”
The staff tapped me on the shoulder...argh, I just retorted for no reason and spent too much time. Whatever. So I left reluctantly.
“Listen up, the origin of this proverb is—”
“Woah! You showed up so quickly again!”
I handed a second ticket to the staff, and arrived before Saikawa again.
“Hii, you’re scary, Kimizuka-san! How many CDs did you buy?”
“Hm? I forgot. About enough for us to chat for a couple of hours?”
“Kimizuka-san, you’re the type of person to devote yourself to someone you like without realizing it!”
Really? Well, it’s just me being a proper man. Right Siesta?
“Fufu, speaking of which.”
Saikawa giggled. I handed over another ticket to the staff to extend the time.
“It’s really interesting talking with you, Kimizuka-san. Let’s continue to fool around then.”
“That’s weird. I never thought about fooling around.”
“This is what I am referring to.”
Saikawa then held my hand with her two hands.
“You natural flirt.”
She said, giving an alluring smile that I had difficulty determining if it was natural or deliberate.
