[You have rearranged and forged new Runes into your Internal Magic Circle.]
[Congratulations, you've developed the {Divine Forging Flame Spirit Furnace Summon}!]
"{Divine Forging Flame Spirit Furnace Summon}!"
Using the power of this new Spell I created, which was specifically created to summon Ignis, and that despite how awesome it sounded, it was only for him or the other Spirits similar to him I might find someday, I was able to bring him here.
FLUOSH!
A giant mass of flames emerged out of my hands in that moment, of crimson flames, rapidly shaping into the small silhouette of a spirit.
Indeed, the Spell was rather successful at touching upon the connection and contract I had with him, despite how I was limited and unable to bring him here through other, natural ways, this worked perfectly!
"Hmm? What is this place? A forest? Oh, Master! There you are! It has been a little while."
"Ignis!"
And yes, was very small, but it was him! It seems that because he's not on Arcadia, or inside the furnace, he's much smaller and perhaps weaker as a result.
I should seriously consider soul binding the Hephaestus Skills so I can use them anywhere and at any time, but I suppose using Spells to bring forth their power also works!
I wonder if maybe Soul binding everything might not be entirely needed? I mean, I could perhaps create more Spells like this, that channel certain Skills!
After all, I don't really feel like combining my Hephaestus Inheritance Skills, and none of them are ready for Evolution either.
So it's better to let them slowly level up over time.
Oh well, for now though, this is more than enough.
"Oh wow, it worked pretty well!" Mark said, looking at Ignis with surprise. "Although he's… definitely smaller than I remember! Wasn't he like over four meters big?"
"Hmm, it appears I have shrunken considerably… This is probably because the link of my existence, the forge of my father, is very far away," Ignis said. "And… Uh, I fear I am quite lost here. Where exactly am I, master? Is this your… house?"
"Yeah, something like that!" I nodded to Ignis. "Your world is Arcadia, and the world where we Players come from is called Earth, as I have not gone to Arcadia yet, I decided to summon you in our world."
"Earth! I see! So I am in another world! H-How incredible, I never thought I would see the day I would walk out of my forge, and even more, in another world…" Ignis looked around with his small, cute face within the flames of his body.
He was able to float anywhere he wanted, apparently, but the farther he went from me, the smaller he became.
"It seems I become smaller the farther away I am from you master…" He said. "Ah, let's see how far I can go then!"
"Huh? W-Wait Ignis!" I panicked as he flew out of the house and into the neighborhood, until…
POOF!
He disappeared completely!
Jannis, Mark, and I panicked.
"IGNIS?!"
As I cried for him, suddenly…
FLUOSH!
He reappeared by my side, as if nothing had happened to him.
"Hm, it seems I cannot go on my own anywhere within… Perhaps a range of around thirty to forty meters from you, master," he said. "A pity, I wanted to travel the world…"
"Aw, well, I wish I could let you, but it seems there are a lot of limitations…" I said. "I summoned you here mostly so you could help me out with making my own Forge."
"A new forge you say? Oh, now that's interesting!" He nodded. "Perhaps if we could somehow create a new Forge here, my link to this world could be strengthened, and I wouldn't be so small!"
"Yeah!" I nodded. "I didn't think about that, but it sounds reasonable… And well, I didn't thin you had dreams of traveling the world though… Now I feel a little bad I got you confined here."
"Ah, no, don't worry about me," he said. "I am fine, truly. It was just a little selfish desire I had."
"Okay…" I sighed. "Now that I think about it, we've barely had a proper conversation, Ignis, I'm sorry. I should've taken better care of you."
"Oh? Please don't worry, I am a grown adult, I am not a child that requires constant attention either, hahah," Ignis laughed. "However, I would appreciate more chit-chat from now and then, as it can get quite boring in the forge when you're not around, master…"
"I understand," I nodded. "Well, now that you're here we can talk more, and you can be more present in our lives too!"
"Certainly! The spell you created is quite wonderful…" He nodded.
As we chatted, I heard Mark and Jannis talking.
"So what is that Spirit exactly, do you know, Lord Mark?" Jannis asked her.
"Please don't call me Lord Mark, lady Jannis, you're the one we should treat with respect…" Sighed Mark. "But yes, it is a Spirit. I think of Divine Nature, tied to a God of Forge and Fire from another world."
"The other world… You mean where the Goddess' powers originate?" Wondered Jannis.
"Sort of, yeah," Mark nodded, crossing his arms.
"It is divine, yet so small and weak, I suppose the link between worlds is weak," said Jannis, rubbing her chin. "I do wonder, what are its origins? Is it a god or a spirit? It's rather intriguing."
Honestly I had to agree with her question, what exactly is Ignis and why was he confined inside a forge instead of being allowed to roam the world as a god?
If Hephaestus was a God, why are his children Spirits instead?
They're questions I never pondered too hard before, maybe because I was so busy…
But right now, I can't help but wonder about such things as I see Ignis here and as I summoned him.
"Ignis, I have a question… I suppose you heard Jannis already wonder that, but what exactly are you? If your father was a God, why are you a Spirit? And why were you and your siblings confined inside those forges you can't leave instead of being left to roam the world? Was Hephaestus kind of cruel by doing this or…?"
"Hmm, I see you have a lot of questions about our origins…"
