Palesilver shook her head and waited while looking at the other groups.

She raised an eyebrow when she saw that both Faithseeker and Leafheart were remaking their pills once again. Their numbers showed 100% and 100%, which meant they were in the process of making those pills.

Aethersage's number showed 100%, next to 97% for Jadetongue. The poor woman had lost at the top 8, but considering all the rewards she was going to receive at the top 8, Palesilver didn't feel too bad for her.

Then, her eyes moved to Group 1, where Treegold and Dusklily had gone up against one another.

Palesilver's eyes slightly widened in surprise when she saw that Treegold had ended up making a 100%, and as her opponent, Dusklily had only made 99%.

The difference between the two had just been 1%, and yet… Dusklily had lost. She had lost against Treegold.

Palesilver shook her head in disdain. 'You had an advantage against the other, and you still lost in the end? Pathetic,' she thought.

Just then, the number next to Alex appeared.

She took in a sudden breath when she saw that. It appeared that her opponent had sadly managed to do the same thing as her.

'They are supposed to last me until the finals,' she thought. 'I need them to defeat that bastard Faithseeker.'

She was certain Alex would fail this time around, so she decided to only use one of the mushrooms this time and keep her other mushrooms for the next two rounds.

She would need them against both Treegold and Faithseeker in the end.

Palesilver brought out her ingredients once again and began making the pill. She did all that she could, controlling the ingredients without making a single mistake.

When the end came, she needed to flood her cauldron with even more energy.

So, she brought out one of her six mushrooms and placed it into the cauldron. Once she finished refining it, the cauldron had enough energy for her to be confident that she could form another pill cloud.

As she expected, the pill came out perfect, with the pill clouds forming above her. She completed making her pill after the seventh pill lightning struck down upon her.

Once she was done, she pulled the pill out and handed it over to the Divinity before her. As the Divinity checked her pill, Palesilver's eyes wandered back toward the brackets at the top.

She immediately looked at Alex's name and was surprised when she saw the 100% next to it.

'Huh?'

She could not believe how he had done it again. How had he formed another 100% pill?

The Divinity let her know that her pill was accepted, but that meant nothing to Palesilver, who had to make the pill once again.

Frustrated, she pulled out another group of ingredients and began making the pill. She kept her nerves about the whole thing and started placing in the ingredients.

She refined them all perfectly, leaving in the end a cauldron full of energy. She pulled out another mushroom and placed it in to flood the cauldron. Once that was done, the formed pill was once again perfect.

The sky rumbled and lightning struck down. Some time later, Palesilver was done with another 100% pill. This was the fourth one she had made for this single recipe.

She pulled the pill out and handed it over to the Divinity. Then, she looked toward the brackets once more, looking at Alex's name.

"No…" she blurted out all of a sudden, unable to believe what she was seeing.

Once again, Alex had made another 100% pill.

So, they were going to have to make their respective pills once again.
