Alex was very much astounded by the Alchemy God's words. He was the first one in generations to make such a pill? Just how difficult was it?
"What exactly is a Discordant Duality Pill, Your Majesty?" Alex asked.
"It's a pill like this, one where the major energies within it are supposed to be in conflict but are instead in harmony," the Alchemy God said. "When a person makes a pill, they rarely make one where the energies are in conflict, so it has been a long time since anyone has made such a pill."
"These aren't special pills, mind you. Making a Discordant Duality Pill doesn't make the pill any better than a regular pill. It's just that the art of creating one has been lost for a long time."
"The only reason why I even know they exist is because I've come across those recipes in my treasure and have gotten curious enough to research them. From what I know, such pills haven't been made in a long time."
Alex remained stunned. He wasn't aware of such a thing, and neither did the Alchemy God's knowledge hold this information. It was just surprising to see the Alchemy God before him tell him something that he had never even heard of before.
"Because of the uniqueness of the pill, I decided not to put those recipes into the list. I never imagined that one of you would actually make one. I'll be sure to let the others know to inform me should another one make such a pill."
"For now, your recipe and pill are accepted."
The Alchemy God handed the pill over to the Divinity next to him, who quickly nodded and registered the pill.
"I'll leave you two to it then," the Alchemy God said and walked away, vanishing beyond the barrier.
The Divinity turned toward Alex. "I will return when this round is over," he said and walked away too, leaving Alex behind on his own.
Alex took a moment to gather what he had learned just now. Discordant Duality Pills were a new concept to him, and he wondered if he could use that idea to make more pills.
However, he would need an inspiration like the Frostfire Sap to create it. There were no ingredients like that anymore. After some time of thinking, he realized that the chances of him making another Discordant Duality Pill were very low.
As a result, Alex began shifting his attention to other probable pill ideas. However, even as time passed, he found it exceptionally difficult to come up with any feasible ideas at all.
'What's going on?' Alex thought with a frown. 'Why am I struggling to think of any other ideas? There should still be hundreds.'
And yet, no matter how hard he tried, all ideas of new pill recipes eluded him.

Dusklily panicked. She had just completed her eighth pill recipe—a recipe for a pill that used the Golden Mind Chrysanthemum to thicken one's spiritual energy, which would slowly dissipate over the course of a few minutes.
Because she had managed to make it with more than a few hours remaining in the round, she decided to start making the next pill recipe. The ingredients lay before her, as having the ingredients within her vision helped her with the creation process.
However, no matter how hard she tried, she could not figure out just what the next pill recipe was going to have to be. It was like her mind had grown foggy, but she was certain it was very clear.
Just in case she wasn't certain of her own limits, she pulled out another of the many mind-clearing pills and ate it. It helped her return her spiritual energy to her peak again, but the fog in her mind remained just the same.
