Chapter 82

Chapter 82: First confrontation
Sword Flame Dragon Soul led a group of elite Sword Flame players to guard the entrance to the Forgotten Valley, while Ling Xue and I led a group of Xue Yue players to guard the production players mining copper .

In the afternoon, when Ling Xue finally logged on, she immediately rushed over as soon as she learned what happened .   In less than half an hour, the little beauty’s figure appeared not far away . So, Ling Yue also prepared to log off .   She said to me, “Bookworm, come with me to the company .   You log off as well!”

I hesitated a bit before nodding .   After Ling Xue asked about the situation, she went into the Forgotten Valley to level with Bing Cha and the others .

When I logged off to prepare, Ling Yue also changed into a western style business suit, looking very graceful and cute .   She looked at me with a smile and said, “Let’s go!”

We came downstairs .   Ling Yue’s car was a water blue Audi that looked like a convertible .

Ling Xue and Ling Yue both had their own cars and I didn’t know when I’d be able to get a car .   I couldn’t help planning in my heart . If I sold some of the high level equipment in the game, I should be able to get some savings for myself!

“What!  You’ll do it?”  The manager’s mouth opened wide in shock .

Ling Yue said with a smile, “That’s right, immediately bring the backgrounds and the photographer over, we’ll do it right now!  Could it be that you don’t think I’m as pretty as that Liu XX?”

“Eh… . . . Of course not .   How could a second rate star like her compare to you?  Alright, I’ll prepare it immediately!”

The manager quickly left and after half an hour, a group of people brought photography equipment, lights, and backgrounds out of a van .   They began preparing their battle array outside the shop .

Ling Yue didn’t even need to put on makeup, she directly went up .   Her appearance was friendly, but it didn’t lose its seriousness . Her noble aura was perhaps something that even those female stars couldn’t compare to .   Actually, everyone knew what kind of things the female stars were, so how could they compare to a girl of noble birth like Ling Yue?

The photograph session went very smoothly and the full bearded director they invited from overseas was very satisfied with the results .   He was filled with praise for Ling Yue, occasionally raising his thumb, even asking Ling Yue out for dinner tonight if she had free time in the end .   I was worried that Ling Yue was in trouble and when I wanted to speak up, Ling Yue skillfully rejected him with fluent english . With my standard of english, I could only understand her saying sorry .

After around two hours, it was finally over .

Ling Yue went to the director’s office and after she finished signing the documents, she sent me to the finance department with a simple list .   It was for operational costs, totaling five hundred thousand . But actually it was to increase the level of living for our Xue Yue Studio .



Ling Yue said, “My pocket money keeps being drained if I use it .   Anway, the company’s funds are all in Wang Jun Jie’s hand and rather than him spending it, it’s better if we took some first!”

The withdrawal document had Ling Yue’s signature, but when I came to the finance department, I learned that it also needed Wang Jun Jie’s signature .

The managers looked at each other .   Nobody thought that a small staff member would dare use this wild tone towards Wang Jun Jie .

Wang Jun Jie flew into a rage and charged forward, sending out a fist!

“Damn, what kind of thing are you!  Daring to talk to father like this!”

Wang Jun Jie was enraged .   He actually only needed a few security guards to bring me out, but now that he had made a move, he definitely made a big mistake .

What a joke!  When Wang Jun Jie was learning his double masters overseas, I wasn’t idle .   During that precious time, I had been fighting and collecting protection money in the school .   I was already trained in the ways of fighting dirty!

Wang Jun Jie’s punch landed on my chest and I was a bit winded, but this didn’t count for much .

With just the first confrontation, it was my complete victory, other than the faint scratch on the corner of my lip .
