After listening to Thanatos' speculation, everyone but Valefor wore a solemn expression, and the atmosphere became heavy.

After all, if Helcan had been spreading malicious rumors long enough for Hades and Nightmare to send people to investigate, then it would mean it was already too late to stop it.

"I propose the immediate termination of Helcan's authority over the Titanfall Territory," Astarte shortly suggested.

"What a damn fool. Even if Helcan had succeeded in his scheme, it wouldn't be his turn to reclaim what he owned. Hades and Nightmare would never let him have anything," Mephistopheles snorted with disdain.

"Why do we need to prepare for their retaliation? What are they retaliating for?" Astarte asked with surprise, still seemingly unaware of the situation.

"His Excellency killed all of Nightmare's representatives, and Lord Thanatos killed Hades' Jade Soul King a short while ago," Balmodan slowly informed Astarte.

Both Astarte and Mephistopheles immediately felt a cold chill run down their spines. The situation was far, far more serious than they had imagined.

It was normal for neighboring star realms to scheme and skirmish against each other.

However, it was a different story once the blood of important people was drawn. At that point, all possibilities of peace were thrown out the window, and only an all-out war was left.

"You're kidding..." Mephistopheles uttered with a numbed look.

Although they had the backing of the Heavenly Devil, whose strength was unprecedented, Mephistopheles still wasn't confident that they could take on the full might of both Hades and Nightmare together.

After all, it wasn't a situation he had experienced, nor did he want to.

"I will deal with Hades and Nightmare," Valefor asserted, breaking his silence. Then, he said, "You lot only need to deal with Helcan and his clan."

"Right!" Mephistopheles was suddenly enlightened and said, "Even if Helcan gave up his connection to the Titanfall Territory, his clan members and subordinates still reside there. They might have been secretly sending information to Helcan."

"We should impose martial law on the Titanfall Territory and purge all his informants and loyal subordinates," Mephistopheles suggested, adding, "We might even be able to find out Helcan's current location from them."

"Let me do it," Astarte volunteered with eagerness, flexing her divine battle ax. "I've been missing some action lately. The Titan Clans should help me stretch my muscles just fine."

"I will also settle this quickly. I fear if we delay this, Helcan will find out about His Excellency's strength and run off to attract more problems for us," Astarte mentioned.
