"This is inside the city…" Josephine opened the portal directly.

"Indeed. Our Supreme Devil has distracted them apparently. Alexander has done a good job as well. All that is left is for us to create chaos inside this city and kill as many soldiers as possible. Our main targets are those elite knights." Laufey nodded.

"Heh? You must be happy to return here." Josephine smirked. "This is your last chance to betray the organization?"

"Betray? What are you talking about? All I want is to exact my revenge. They have defeated me multiple times in the past. This time, it's a perfect chance that our Supreme has created himself. Just for today, I don't want to fail!" Laufey's killing intent leaked out of his eyes, showing his seriousness.

"…" Josephine squinted her eyes, not finding any clue about Laufey betraying the group. It appeared she was wrong about him. "In that case, wait here for a minute. I'm going to prepare several portals from all around the cities. We'll attack at the same time."

Laufey nodded. "I'll leave it to you."

Josephine nodded and returned to the portal.

But before she could enter the portal, the temperature decreased drastically.

"!!!" Both Laufey and Josephine noticed the massive fluctuation of spiritual energy that appeared out of nowhere.

The portal was suddenly frozen and crumbled into pieces.

"Where do you think you're going?" Melissa's chilling voice echoed in their ears as both of them turned around, finding a woman approaching them. She looked like a normal citizen, but the moment she activated her ability, the massive amount of spiritual energy inside her body erupted.

"What is that amount of spiritual energy?" Laufey gasped. When he looked up, he noticed that snow had started falling. "Snow…"

"Not good!" Josephine hurriedly opened another portal.

Laufey also released his own spiritual energy to attack her.

Unfortunately for them, Melissa froze the portal before waving her hand toward Laufey. A chilling wind froze the spiritual energy itself and clashed with Laufey's energy, causing a massive burst of chilling spiritual energy.

This burst was noticed not only by these two but also by the people inside the city as well as the people fighting outside the city.

"!!!" The one who was shocked by the eruption was not Noel. Instead, it was the Supreme Devil.

It wasn't because Noel hid another trump card. It was because the eruption was clearly related to ice energy.

'Ice energy?' He had received the report that the hidden expert that Noel had was a spirit transcendence with an ice element.

Yet for some reason, the ice energy came from the town even though Alexander was fighting a spirit transcendence rank expert Noel had.

It surprisingly didn't match up. The spirit transcendence Alexander fought should have an ice element, but now that he thought about it, Rui hadn't used her element even a bit.

Instead, she had been using her martial art to stop Alexander.

All these clues led to a single conclusion that he didn't really want to believe.

Noel actually hid two spirit transcendence experts instead of one. He didn't know Rui's existence this whole time, which Noel took advantage of to deliver such a massive blow.

Instead of Noel, he was the one who fell into the traps.

Noel, on the other hand, knew it was just a coincidence. Of course, he did tell Rui to go out instead of Melissa because he wanted Melissa to remain inside the city since she was more familiar with the city.

However, the Supreme Devil had definitely outsmarted him by launching a surprise attack directly inside the city.

It was just that Noel's trump card was so many that it coincidentally caught the Supreme Devil off guard.

"You… have been planning this from the start?" The Supreme Devil gritted his teeth.

Noel didn't know about this as well, but it seemed creating that misunderstanding was necessary.

"Where are you going?" Noel grinned. "This is the end of the Supreme Devil Organization. Since you have attacked me, everyone has to remain here! Rui. You can go all out now."

"Understood." Rui also released her energy. "Light Transformation!"

"!!!" Alexander leaped back while putting his arms in front.

Rui's arms and legs were enveloped in white light as a pair of rabbit ears made of the same light appeared on top of her head.

Her jumping power and speed increased drastically, closing the distance between her and Alexander in an instant. Then she punched him.

Alexander could feel that his arms bent a bit because of that punch, as though he was seeing the refraction of a spoon inside a glass filled with water.

However, the attack alone carried so much energy that it blew him fifty meters away.

"!!!" The Supreme Devil became even more frustrated. It was clear that this battle was already a lost cause. Even though he could win against Noel, he didn't have the necessary time to kill him. In addition, it didn't seem like rescuing the people inside the city was possible anymore, especially with the hidden spirit transcendence around.

He misunderstood, thinking that Noel had completely outsmarted him. It made him even more furious, considering the first plan was a success. But this second plan had failed miserably.

It just made him look like a joke, like any opponent Noel had faced thus far.

"You!" The Supreme Devil roared as a burst of energy struck Noel.

Noel waved his sword, using the fire to burn the energy while splitting the remaining energy.

Even then, it still contained that mysterious power that the residual energy alone. No, Noel even noticed that his hands started to go numb, as though they had just withstood something they couldn't handle.

Despite his condition, Noel actually smiled. This was what he needed. Since the situation had been turned around, he could fully focus on observing this power and find any clues of his king path.
