"This place is our target this time." Layla pointed at the map. "We have surveyed their area. According to the information, there is a small village in this area. Their place has experienced a bad harvest due to the demon migrating to the west. Fortunately, not a single person has been hurt because the migration happens during the night.
"However, without a food supply, they might be forced to do unthinkable things to get enough food on their table." Layla explained. "I have sent our team over there. If you look closely at the map, you should know that this place is quite hard to reach.
"It's located at the foot of the volcano. The road itself is not too big, so it's hard to travel there, especially with a large convoy.
"Still, with the airship, we should be able to reach that location. My team has gone there to create some space for the airship. Fortunately, we can use their field to park the airship. Unfortunately, it's only enough for one airship."
Noel squinted his eyes, pondering. He eventually glanced at Jasmine on the side.
Although he was trying to do charity, he didn't plan to just go after giving them a few things. He wanted to create a sustained system for them so that he didn't have to go there again.
Jasmine explained, "The demons might destroy the field, but it can still be planted. There's no need for additional help. Fortunately, the land is fertile because it's located at the foot of a volcano.
"The only problem is to ensure that there's no other demon around the area. Besides, I should observe their farming system and, if possible, introduce an improved one."
Balott nodded. "Looking at the location of the village, they must be selling their harvest to the territory beside us, specifically this Lindunr City. However, there's another city under construction closer to them. If they're ready, they will most likely go there."
"I've done the terrain check. It's possible to create a road to this new city." Douglas nodded.
"What about the goods?" Noel asked.
"Everything has been prepared. We have included enough food and preserved food that will last them for 5 months. It should be enough for the next harvest," reported Rose.
Aurelia then began. "I will be arranging my team to take care of the demons."
"I have asked Grandel to bring some soldiers there."
"The people that will go there are my lord, me, Jasmine, Douglas, Grandel, and 50 people ranging from carpenters to soldiers."
"Our Moon Temple will have around 30 people." Layla nodded.
Noel was satisfied. Everything was ready, as Anna said. He couldn't thank Anna enough for establishing the organization correctly.
"In that case, let's head there. Tristan, take care of the family when I'm away. If you need anything, you may ask Dimitri. You don't have to worry about something dangerous coming here. This city has its own guardian angels."
"Yes, Master!" Tristan lowered his head. Although he was curious about these guardian angels, he didn't ask about it.
Of course, the guardian angel he was talking about was Rui and Melissa. With two spirit transcendences secretly protecting the city, there was nothing to fear.
Noel exchanged nods with Layla, agreeing to go. All the related people immediately exited the room, as the soldiers from both the Ardagan family and the Moon Temple had been waiting for them in front of the airship.
Layla was a bit curious about how they operated the airship. As if knowing her curious nature, Noel simply showed her the control room. The airship was managed by two people. The first one handled the navigation, while the other focused on maintaining the ship's defense system.
Even though it wouldn't get attacked, it was still necessary because if an attack did land on the airship, the one who would get the blame would be this person.
Once everyone boarded the ship, the captain immediately activated the runes and took off into the sky.
"This is amazing! To think that people can fly in the sky like this." Layla had a big smile on her face the whole time.
Now that Noel thought about it, Layla had lost her eyesight for a long time. Now that her eyesight had been restored, she could see all the scenery that she had missed this whole time.
After seeing how the airship operated, the next thing she wanted to see was obviously the sky. She went directly to the observation deck to see the beautiful scenery.
If they went by train or car, they needed at least three hours before reaching this place. But with the airship, it only took them thirty minutes.
They simply crossed over the river and hills and traveled at a much higher speed, cutting the time drastically.
It was there Noel saw the volcano. The airship could actually go above the volcano without any problem, as they could raise the barrier to withstand the heat, but Noel didn't want to do anything unnecessary, so the airship looped around the mountain.
Noel could see the road to the village, even though they were covered in tall trees. As Layla said, it was a small road. Even when they brought a carriage, it would be hard to cross them. There was a chance for them to slip and fall to their death.
"…" Noel squinted his eyes, examining the village. "Are we taxing them?"
"Yes. With the rate that you have set up." Rose nodded.
"The soldiers have to go there?"
"Yes. It was quite treacherous, considering they can only rely on a small wagon. Are we going to stop taxing them?"
"No. Rather than stopping, it's better to improve that village to produce more so that they won't be bothered by the tax. It will be better if it's improved. Besides, a volcano is good for the land. We might not only develop this village but also the area around it. If we can create some paths, there might be a lot more people settling there."
"I understand." Rose nodded.
Although Noel could think of a few improvements, he had to go down first to make sure.
