"Regarding our goal…" Anna exchanged looks with Noel. Once she saw Noel nod, Anna stated, "It might not be as grand or as kind as you expected. However, we'd like to use this organization to strengthen the Ardagan family in the north. Not just that, if our allies on the north can't keep up, the demons might even breach the north and flood the kingdom.

"Hence, we will use them to fortify the northern part of the kingdom. Although the money is not much, there are other things we can actually use as another way to strengthen them, such as building the road and other projects.

"Last but not least, the route is not entirely relevant. After all, while we might use trains or trucks to transport the items, we're planning to introduce our airship.

"This is a ship that can travel in the sky, meaning there's no terrain that will become a problem. We can bring at least fifty tons worth of supply in a single trip along with 50 people on board.

"That's why the route is not a problem and we can reach even the hardest place in this world."

"Hoh? Airship?" Luke rubbed his chin, thinking for a moment. "Are you planning to introduce the airship through this?"

"Yes." Anna answered without hesitation.

"I see. I get the gist of your operation. I only have three suggestions. Because you are working with the Moon Temple, it's best to let them do the survey and other things unless you find a strategic place to be strengthened.

"The second suggestion is to work together with the local lord. If you don't work together with the local lord, they will think that you're trying to outshine them.

"In the end, the Ardagan family and the Moon Temple are different. Even if you don't have such intentions, they can't help but compare you and their lord.

"On the other hand, if you promise the local lord to get involved, you can grab some people from him while giving him some popularity among his citizens. With the current reputation of the Ardagan family, you should be able to convince the local lord easily. If not, you can just mention that the previous Ardagan family has done the same thing and you're merely fulfilling my wish.

"This will create less friction. No. You might even be able to strengthen your alliance that way.

"Last but not least, you have to get help from the local people. No one really says it, but talented people appear from all over the lands. It's just… we don't have the resources and manpower to find them or utilize them.

"With the help of the Ardagan family, you can get their cooperation and gradually their hearts.

"This will help strengthen the Ardagan family a lot. In the end, you can't simply do everything yourself to manage the territory. By having a lot of talented people, you can position them in strategic locations and strengthen the entire territory.

"These are all my suggestions. I don't think I have to tell you how to acquire funds or manage them because the Moon Temple can handle it."

Anna turned to Noel as both of them nodded their heads. "We understand."

"In that case, take this." Luke gave him the book that he asked Leysha to get. "This is the ledger of my organization. You should be able to understand how I operate most of the time. I won't tell you to follow it, but study it so that you don't feel cheated when helping people.

"I have also added some personal notes." The book itself was quite huge and thick, but his parents often gave him this type of book in the past. Although he didn't really want to read them, he still looked at them from time to time.

And it was definitely a useful book. They were clear and precise.

"Yes. Thank you, Father." Noel and Anna politely bowed.

"All right. Do you have anything else to ask?"

Noel thought for a moment before shaking his head. "I don't have one."

Anna raised her hand. "There's something I'm curious about… It's not a question, though."

"Sure. Please tell us." Luke nodded.

Anna took a deep breath before pouring everything from her heart. "Father, Mother. I'd like to thank you for everything you've done. I don't know what you've done in the past, but it's clear that you're steering me to Noel.

"If not for your help, I wouldn't have met Noel and changed. And I'd like to apologize for everything I've done in the past. I've hurt you a lot, especially Noel." Anna lowered her head. "I'm sorry."

Luke wasn't the one who was supposed to answer this question. Leysha gently replied, "Please raise your head, Anna. In the past, you were controlled by the Void Arbiter. You did nothing wrong.

"However, deep down, we knew you were a great girl. In fact, we should be the ones to apologize. We're sorry for forcing you to marry Noel with our scheme."

"No. Please don't say that, Mother. I'm truly thankful and blessed to have Noel as my partner." Anna shook her head furiously.

"I'm glad." Leysha smiled. "Your father and my husband are good friends, so we've decided on your engagement without consulting you because of the pressure from all those people."

"Those people?" Anna raised her eyebrows.

"Regarding those people, I won't be the one explaining it. However, please allow me to say this first." Leysha lowered her head. "Thank you for accepting Noel. Thank you for changing. We have let both of you suffer a lot and it's shameless to ask this.

"However, I hope both of you can have a happy family and become good parents to your child… something that we have failed to do."

Even Luke lowered his head. Everything they did, even though calculated, was still horrible as parents. They truly had no face to meet their child originally.

Anna wanted to say something but stopped when Noel held her hand. Noel wanted to be the one conveying that feeling.

"Please raise your heads, Father, Mother. Everything is in the past. Instead of lamenting over the past, we humans always learn from our mistakes in the past so that we can strive for tomorrow's happiness. I hope Father and Mother can finally let go of your feelings. I wish for all of us to finally start walking toward the future."

Leysha covered her mouth as her eyes teared up while Luke didn't raise his head because he was too embarrassed for already crying.
