After finishing their work in the territory, Noel and Anna headed to the demon territory.
If his parents intended to erase all their traces, they would be hard to find, even for Noel and Anna. However, as Noel expected, they could find their trace from time to time, signaling to them it was time for them to talk.
Eventually, Noel and Anna stopped in their tracks, not because they found a big trace but because they found the person who would guide them there.
"Silvester. I know you're there." Noel squinted his eyes. Anna was also staring at the same spot.
"Ahaha…" Silvester let out a hollow laugh, finally revealing himself from behind the tree. "Young master, young lady. I really can't escape from your eyes."
Noel shook his head. "It's not that you can't escape from our eyes. You are probably here to greet me or something."
Silvester smiled. "See? I can't escape from your eyes. It is as you expect, young master. Master and Madam are waiting for you. Allow me to escort both of you."
Noel and Anna exchanged nods. "All right."
Silvester immediately led Noel and Anna deeper into the demon territory until they reached halfway to the former Ardagan territory.
Eventually, they stopped not far from the river. At the bottom of the mountain, there was a small cave that looked nothing extraordinary from the outside but had been transformed inside.
Noel and Anna couldn't help but furrow their eyebrows, noticing more than 20 people inside.
Noel couldn't help but ask, "Who are they? They're too small for a resistance but too big for a small group."
"They are an elite of our group. Our main force is not here, but these people are the assistance for us to do all kinds of things necessary in this place." Silvester explained. "Though they might not hold a candle against the young master and young lady, they're pretty strong."
"I see." In the past, Noel couldn't sense his mother's strength accurately. Now that he had reached this stage, he finally realized how strong his mother truly was.
Among these people, his mother was clearly the one close to spirit transcendence. There were also four grandmasters among them, along with ten masters. Some didn't have spiritual energy like his father. This small group alone has a strength equal to that of a normal count.
It was no wonder why they dared to set up their camp deep inside the demon territory.
Once they entered the cave, Noel and Anna were quite startled. After all, deep inside, the cave was actually bright. It was so bright that it looked like they were outside.
But when they raised their heads, they would see a glowing crystal at the top of the ceiling.
There was a limestone cave that had been transformed into a living area.
"To think there is a place like this…" Anna muttered.
"Noeeeeellllll!" A familiar voice echoed throughout the cave as Leysha leaped into the air and was about to fall on Noel.
Noel smiled wryly and shifted his stance a bit while spreading his arms, hugging Leysha the moment he reached him. "Mother. Why are you behaving like this? Anna is with me as well."
Leysha just hugged him even tighter. "Why should I care about my appearance and behavior? I can finally meet my son. I couldn't care less about the rest."
"Ahaha…" Noel smiled wryly. "Still, I'm glad that you are living well, Mother."
"Mhmm. I'm glad you're able to return without any problems. I was so worried about the sea expedition…"
"Yes. I'm back." Noel nodded.
Satisfied, Leysha took a step back and turned to Anna before politely nodding to her. "I'm glad that you're back as well, Anna. Thank you for taking care of Noel this whole time."
"Yes. Well, Noel was the one taking care of me most of the time." Anna smiled. "I'm glad you're living well, Mother."
Noel turned to the only building inside the cave. "Still, Mother. Is Father here?"
"Yes. He has been waiting for you."
"I see." Noel nodded. "Still, thank you for helping me when I was away, Mother."
"What are you talking about?" Leysha tilted her head in confusion.
"I know you are the one taking care of the Supreme Devil Organization. The reason they didn't take action the whole time must be because of you." Noel shook his head.
Leysha wanted to play dumb, but she knew how clever her son was. "Ahahaha. I guess I can't hide it from you. Well, I'm also helping Dimitri."
"Dimitri?" Noel raised his eyebrows.
"Young Master. You should have been there. I bet Dimitri's love life can finally bloom. Although it's late, it's better than never." Silvester smirked.
"Oh! Is it Milfa?"
"Yes." Silvester nodded.
"Heh? Should I also set up a meeting between them?" Noel grinned slyly. If he wanted, he could simply go to the Demon Banner Army with Dimitri. He could make an excuse like talking to Oscar while leaving Dimitri and Milfa alone.
"I don't think that's necessary anymore." Leysha winked playfully.
Noel chuckled. "Is that so? All right then. By the way, Mother. There is something I'd like to ask you. As someone who has experience building a charity organization, I feel like I should know how to do it properly."
"What? You're going to do the same thing?"
"Yes."
"If that's the case, you should ask your father instead." Leysha hugged her son's arm while saying, "Why not come in first? It's been a while, but I could rarely cook for you because I'm a noble. But I wonder if you'd like to eat my cooking?"
"Sure. I'd love to." Noel smiled.
"I will help." Anna raised her hand.
"Can you cook?" Leysha examined Anna.
"I conquered his stomach before his heart." Anna nodded proudly.
"His favorite is…"
"Chicken Soup!"
Leysha's eyes flashed as she held Anna's hands. "Let's cook together."
"Yes, Mother!"
The harmonious interaction between them simply put a smile on Noel's face. Silvester said, "In that case, I will guide you to the master, young master."
"Yes. It's best to leave them alone. There's no need for my wife and my mother to see me punch my father." Noel grinned.
Silvester looked troubled, remembering the time Noel slapped Leysha the moment they reunited.
However, Leysha suddenly turned around and said, "NO!"
"Mother?" Noel halted his step, thinking his mother wanted to stop him.
But it turned out his mother gave a thumbs up while saying, "Do it one more time in my stead. That's the punishment for banning me from meeting you the whole time."
