With how excited they were, it was impossible for me to escape being pulled away by them.

If I had tried to leave, there was no doubt that they would have had the holy knights gathered here grab me.

I was stronger than before, but that didn't mean that I would be able to break free from being grabbed by all of these holy knights. Not to mention that I had nothing to gain from using force against them in the first place.

It was clear that they had no ill intentions, it was just that they were letting their excitement get to them.

So in the end, I followed the popes to the same meeting hall as before.

This was the place where the highest powers of the Holy Empire gathered and now…I was the one that was sitting in front of them. Or rather, it was better to say that I was sitting above them.

Instead of sitting in the same place as when I was brought into this meeting hall previously, I had been put in a seat that was behind the seats of the Holy Council.

The way that the seat was placed, it was as if I was the one that was ruling over the entire Holy Empire. It was as if I was some kind of divine king with how the popes of the Holy Council even looked up to me.

My lips couldn't help twitching when I saw them acting this way and there was a part of me that wanted to jump into a hole from embarrassment, but they wouldn't let me leave. The way that they had pushed me into the seat, it was as if they would fight to keep me there.

So I had no choice but to sit there in front of everyone like this.

"What happened?"

When they asked this question, I started telling them about the things that I learned from the gods.

Of course, there were a few things that I kept from them. These were things that were related to the relationship that I had with the gods, so it was better for me not to say these things out loud.

After they finished listening to what I had to say, all of them seemed to be deeply lost in thought.

It seemed that all of them were digesting what I had just said to them.

But that made it even more awkward for me as I was just sitting there in the seat that was raised up above them.

Eventually, the pope of the Solista Religion said, "So this was because the seal on the God of Destruction was weakening and it was releasing the power of destruction into the world. That corruption energy does indeed seem like it's capable of destroying the world."

The other popes nodded in agreement to this.

"Then the only thing that we can do is secure the Relics of Destruction as soon as possible. We'll talk to the other empires about this and see what they can do to help us obtain the Relics of Destruction."

"It's just the Democratic Union…That's a bit hard."

After this was said, they turned back to look at me.

I could tell that there was something that they were implying as they looked at me, but I also knew exactly what they were thinking. After all, this matter was related to me and the Democratic Union.

Out of all four of the human empires, the Democratic Union was the only one that seemed to dislike me.

And out of all four of the human empires, the Democratic Union was the only one that had a Relic of Destruction inside of its borders. That was why I had no choice but to go to the Democratic Union to reclaim that Relic of Destruction.

But whether they would actually let me get it or not…

It was harder to convince the Democratic Union since even though they believed in gods because of the signs all over this world, they didn't worship the gods. They didn't follow the words of the gods, so it was hard for the gods to have influence on them.

It was one thing for the Holy Empire to go into the Democratic Union, but it was a completely different thing for me to go into the Democratic Union.

It seemed like it would be the hardest Relic of Destruction to get, even though it should be the closest.

But that didn't seem to be the case for the popes of the Holy Council.

"Isn't it simple? All we have to do is give him a proper title so he can go with our delegation."

As soon as the pope of the Solista Religion said this, all of the other popes of the Holy Council nodded in agreement.

A bitter smile appeared on my face as I said, "This seems a bit inappropriate, right?"

All of them suddenly turned to look at me when I said this with strange looks.

It was as if they just couldn't believe what I was saying, but I didn't think that I said anything strange.

After looking at me for a bit, the pope of the Solista Religion said, "How is that inappropriate? It's only natural that we give the hero a proper title."

"Hero?" I asked in a strange voice.

It wasn't just the pope of the Solista Religion that nodded in response, all of the popes nodded in response to this before they started talking over each other.

It was hard to listen to them, but I was able to get the gist of what they were saying.

The oracles that the gods sent to them…they had included the word hero.

So that meant that it was the gods themselves that told them that I was the hero of humanity.

This was something that I had tried to avoid mentioning earlier since I didn't want to be known as a hero, but it seemed like the gods weren't even giving me a chance to reject this title.

They were forcing this title onto me…
