"Huh?" Everyone was caught off guard when they heard this before looking like they wanted to say different things to convince me otherwise.

Only before any of them could actually do that, I raised the Staff of Earth in my hand and raised a ball of dirt around the seed. It was as if the seed of corruption sensed the danger that came from this dirt that surrounded it, so it pulled back the corruption energy that it was releasing.

That allowed the dirt that gathered around it to easily envelop it and suppress it.

They were supposed to be assigned to me, which meant that they should have been assigned to stay in our Kite Kingdom. However, the prime minister had said earlier that they had been off handling something else.

The only thing that could pull them away was another order from the Holy Empire, so I was curious what it had been about.

What he was implying was that if it had been stronger, then they wouldn't have been able to handle it that easily. If it had been stronger, then they would have needed to request help.

The holy knight didn't even need to ask what the message was as he gave a nod and headed off.

As I was about to say something, there was another person that ran over.

This was one of the crew members of the Holy Empire's airship, specifically the one that was in charge of sending messages. This was the person that the holy knight had gone off to find.

But there was a reason why this person had run over here.
