Afterword

While I was standing in front of a tall, multi-story building with my heart throbbing hard, a single man with a lovely smile appeared.

His name is Mr. K-do. I learned later that he is the editor in charge of me.

Following Mr. K-do into the building, we got on the elevator.

Then, the elevator descended and we headed deeper into the building, to the Dengeki Bunko editorial department.

Someone like me coming to a place like this……!

Maintaining control over the excitement in my trembling chest, I advised myself.

Man I’m nervous! Soon my first meeting will start, and I want to keep as good of an impression as possible!

After arriving at the meeting place, Mr. K-do said “Please wait a bit” and left.

After about 5 minutes, Mr. K-do returned with two other men.

They were the other editors in charge of me, Mr. M-ki and Mr. K-hara. Flustered, I quickly stood up from my seat and greeted them with a deep bow.

I had a splendid 45 degree angle! Having a hunchback was really helpful at that time.

After a simple self-introduction, I handed the three of them my business card, and let loose a smile as they looked over it.

Just in case, I thought it would be handy to have my own business card!

I learned about business manners before. Now’s the time to make full use of my experience as a working adult!

I was pretty happy being able to exchange business cards perfectly. A lot of fanfare was blasting out inside my heart.

While being nervous, I praised myself for being able to make it this far, and gave them the business cards…….

When they received them, they immediately stored them away.

Let’s arrange your business cards on the left hand side when you receive them alright?

In addition, if multiple cards are being exchanged, then you should order them inside your business card case in the same order of seating, with the highest person on top. This is the basics of business manners. Just putting them in with no thought is just “outrageous”.

Ah hello, nice to meet you. I’m a camel 1 who is known for storing business cards.

This time, I had the honour of being awarded the grand prize at the 22nd Dengeki awards. I would like to give my heartfelt gratitude. I am very grateful to everyone who was apart of this selection.

Even though that alone is already very pleasant, I’d like to especially mention my editors, Mr. Miki, Mr. Kohara, Mr. Kondo, and my illustrator Buriki-sama. I’d also like to mention Mr. Shigusawa 2 for his kindness in his recommendation as if he was writing a review for “placing all the toppings on a bowl of extra large ramen”. I’m still no match for you.

And now, my thanks.

For my editors, thank you for warning me when I go overboard and for giving me various advice.

I think it is seriously wonderful to say that this book was not made by just me, but with the help of all of them.

Buriki-sama, thank you for bringing my fluffy characters to life.

Next volume, I hope you can draw Stinger-kun as the embodiment of moe…… I’m sorry. It’s nothing.

Mr. Shigusawa, thank you for recommending me. I heard that you were “laughing heartily” when reviewing my work, so from now on I hope I can make you laugh so much your stomach hurts.

My proofreader, thank you for pointing out various mistakes. Since I use “Thing” a lot, from now on I’ll be called longevity camel 3 and use “thing” a lot more……. Okay. I’m sorry for getting carried away. From now on I’ll pay closer attention to my usage of “thing”.

Daisuke-kun, seeing you do your best as a musician in the same circle really made me want to do my best too! And so, you were quite the encouragement. Thank you.

Iwahori-kun, every story I’ve written up until now, you’ve always been the first one to read them until the end and give me your thoughts and in order to have you say “interesting!” I’ve worked hard to meet your expectations. Thank you very much.

Ota-kun, we had that talk about how when I debut with a novel that your daughter (2 years old) would become my bride 4 , but are you sure about that? My heart is beating with various meanings. Anyways thank you very much.

Now then, at last, to you, the reader who bought this book.

Thank you for being interested in it!

From here on out, because there are plans to continue writing Jouro-kun’s “Super?Exciting!” story, I wish that we meet again in the next volume, from the bottom of my heart.

Next time will also be full of service!
