Kai entered the fighting area, placing himself in the same spot as Kai and Austin had done. He immediately raised both of his daggers and got into a fighting stance.

Pluto mirrored his actions, placing the sword across from him. He could feel something was different about this individual compared to the rest of them.

"Gary…I'm not too sure that's a good look in Kai's eyes," Austin commented.

"What do you mean, he seems to just be focused," Gary replied.

"No, that's not it," Austin said. "I think, maybe it's because I felt the same way when I watched that guy spit in your eye. But I think Kai might do something that he's going to regret."

"What, Kai do that? You know he's the most sensible out of all of us, he wouldn't do something like that, would he?" Gary questioned, and then he remembered the last words that he had heard from Kai, stating that he was sorry, and now Austin questioning Kai like this?

The fight had started and it was Kai who had charged in first. In doing so, he rushed forward and he was quick on his feet.

He didn't try any tricks, didn't attack from the side, instead he went straight ahead, and swung the two daggers right at Pluto.

The daggers both clashed against his sword, and immediately Pluto felt the need to push back with his strength, with more than he expected.

'My forearms, they're getting numb just from the first attack. Is it his speed that's giving him the boost in power!' Pluto thought.

He had to focus and up his game on this one. Being a five-star hunter he had his pride and he couldn't be fooled around with an apprentice.

Before he knew it, a flurry of attacks were coming from Kai, as he moved from side to side aiming to hit Pluto with the daggers.

From the left, from the right, each time Pluto needed to move to defend the attacks.

The Altered hunters that were watching the display were glued to what was happening.

They had never seen such an intense battle like this. It was a rare occurrence for them to witness two five-star hunters battling and this was what it almost felt like to them.

"I told you," Austin said. "This ain't right, Kai isn't taking it easy on him."

"I mean he's doing well, maybe he's just showing more after what happened with me," Gary answered, because he knew if Kai really wanted to, he could win this match instantly.

As Kai continued his relentless attacks, he was adding slightly more strength behind his hits bit by bit.

At the same time, Pluto could feel his arms getting number and number.

'We have gone through too much,' Kai thought as he swung his arm with the dagger in hand. 'The Howlers have gone through too much to reach to the point where we reached.

'He spat in our leader's eye, to be humiliated like that!' Kai's veins were protruding on his neck.

As Pluto couldn't take it any longer, he went to swing his own sword striking towards Kai. He was slightly worried since he didn't hold back, but Kai had easily dodged it and launched in for another attack.

Pluto had managed to move back himself only just in time before getting hit.

'Our gang, is not in the same position as it was before, we shouldn't be humiliated like that, if he knew who you were Gary he should have never thought about doing something like that.

'Right now, our gang is doing a favour for the vampires, doing the work that they should be doing themselves, and all of these people here. The three of us alone, could take them all out, and yet they do something like that!'

Kai's eyes were fierce with rage, as he struck hard, and when it hit Pluto's weapon, it caused his feet to slide across the mud.

"Whoa…he pushed Pluto back," One of the hunters commented.

"Not just that, Pluto it seems like he can't do anything back either," Another said.

"Right, he even swung his sword, and that guy dodged as well. Is he really an apprentice, he can't be right. Or maybe his weapons are made from a high-grade beast?"

"No, that isn't it," Another answered. "He's using my weapons."

The hunter in question was a 2-star hunter, so it was definitely not the weapons. From what they had seen so far, they could only think it was once in a lifetime skill.

"These fools," Saiber grunted. "Do they really think Pluto can't beat him. If he fought seriously there's a chance the other could get hurt, of course he isn't fighting seriously."

Pluto had heard the words of Saiber, but the words weren't the truth. In the last attack, Pluto had prepared for it, and even used part of his Qi. Yet, he had still ended up the way he was.

He didn't want to mention it, because it wasn't the time to cause a scene or a problem, and in a lot of ways it was embarrassing.

"Go on," Kai finally said. "Why don't you do the same as you did to my friend, why don't you spit in my eye?" Kai said.

Pluto was taken aback, and before he knew it, Kai was right in front of him, his mouth open and spit had come shooting out hitting Pluto right in the face.

Right after he felt a strong kick to his legs, causing his back to hit the ground. When Pluto went to rub his eyes, and he could see clearly, he now had two daggers that were right at his throat.

"We are all going to ruin city," Kai said looking right into Pluto's eyes.
