CRYYY!
A powerful cry rang out from the opposite direction, and I could feel the monster coming.
It is very far, but hearing the roars, I could tell; it is moving very fast.
Most of the monsters are running away, but this one is moving to fight it. It would only happen when the monster isn’t suppressed by fear.
Means it is strong.
I became more careful because I had sensed what was happening. It is what I had expected. It means I shouldn’t go there, but I’m going anyway.
I need to be extremely careful. If I found out, I am going to suffer a fate worse than death.
I have no desire for that, and I shouldn’t even go there, but this curiosity is moving my feet.
I just hope it won’t let me get killed.
A minute and then another; I got closer and closer to the centre where everything is happening. I also got slower as I do not want to be discovered.
It took three and a half minutes more before I could see what was happening with my eyes.
I would have needed to get even closer, but I found a suitable mountain that provides a perfect view of what’s happening.
There I saw a man fighting against bear monsters, which had lightning all over them. It is striking that the man holding a rapier is avoiding his attacks.
Both of them are powerful enough that if I were against them, I wouldn’t think of anything but survival.
The monster is powerful, but I am still rooting for it. It should kill the bastard. No, destroy it, along with every trace of it.
The man is the host of Itornas.
From a distance, it may look fine, but if one looks at it a little more closely. They would see its pore-covered skin from which the pus was coming out.
I had fought Itornas before, three times, actually. The first time was on the day I recovered, but all three times, it was an infected monster, not the host.
The intelligent house of the host; they are most dangerous.
They not only capture the body, but also warp the mind, such that the person has all their memories and experiences, yet is complexly loyal to itornas.
What I am seeing is a host, and it has come to collect the monster.
They sneak into the realm to collect the monsters. It is very likely that they had already scourged the monster in their sub-realm.
Not that it is big enough to house many monsters.
It is big, but not really big; it is hundreds of times smaller. If what they said is right, then it is several times larger than the island of Tor.
It is fighting against the monster, attacking it.
Every attack not only has the power of its inheritance energy and the la, but also the pus and pus of the host is far more dangerous than the infected Itornas.
The monster seemed to understand that and destroyed everything that came at it, but some are still going inside it.
The monster’s wild energy, powerful vitality, and laws are good at fighting compared to people, but as the host, the monster is fighting.
It is very hard to survive against them, even if it is a little weaker.
A few seconds passed, and I hid myself better. It won’t be looking for me. It’s always best to be cautious.
CRYYY!
Nine seconds later, a loud cry rang out, and the brown bird came streaking across the sky.
The dense yellow fire covering it lit up the path behind it, illuminating the dark sky.
It moved directly for the host, and when it appeared over it, it opened its mouth and released a large blast of dense yellow fire.
A moment later, the massive fire covered the host and everything around, burning it to a crisp, till only the ashes remained, but the host didn’t die.
Instead, it shot out of it; it looked worse for wear, but it didn’t die.
Seeing how it moved for fear, it didn’t seem to have the intention of running away.
CRYYY!
It raged the bird, and it attacked it, but this time, it had dodged, but the bird attacked it, and it dodged once more.
The bird is more powerful than the bear, but the host is very good at surviving. That pus could form a very powerful defensive layer that is very hard to breach.
I looked at the bear monster; it was running away.
It is powerful, but it understood that it couldn’t kill the host, and once the bird dealt with the host. It is going to kill.
The monsters do that.
As long as they sense even a hint of Itornas’ power of the monster. They kill them and destroy every part of them. So, they won’t be able to infect the other monsters.
Time passed, and the bird kept attacking while the host dodged and defended.
Still, a significant power difference is evident, and it is slowly affecting the host, yet it continues to fight a fruitless battle against the bird without running away.
It continued for seven minutes. It fought against the bird, with almost mad intensity, when it ran away.
The direction it is running away is the same as the Bear, which had suddenly slowed down, before falling on the ground.
The bear had healed its injuries in the past few minutes; there was only a faint mark remaining on its body from those, but it had still fainted.
The host dodged and defended, while moving toward the Bear, till finally reaching it.
As it did, it touched it, and the bear disappeared.
CRYYY!
The bird roared in rage, seeing that, and attacked it with the most powerful attack. It was not able to dodge it and blasted by it.
The fire burned massively around it and even created a huge crater.
Nothing had remained there, not even the host. The bird looked around and even attacked several times before flying away.
The monster seemed to have experience with it and wanted to be thorough.
I didn’t leave. I looked at the bastard running away. It had used a quiet method. If my soul waves weren’t so good, I wouldn’t have been able to sense it at all.
Especially, it defended creating a dome of pus, before melding into the fire and slipping away.
I wanted to send the direction of the bastard, but doing that would have been extremely dangerous. The host might have sensed me, something I don’t want to happen.
I am not its match, and until I do, I want to stay as far away from it as possible.
’It is such a pity for the monster, though,’ I thought.
The host had a pocket dimension; in the process of conversion, it is much faster. The next time the monster came out, it would be fully infected.
I stayed on the mountain for a few minutes before resuming my journey, more cautious than before.
I have seen the power of the host, and I do not want to get discovered by it, because I don’t know whether I would be able to escape as it did from the monster.
