Chapter 4561: Recovery
Editor: Misty Cloud Translations
“Let’s return first. We shouldn’t disturb them here. Elder Mo’s establishment is a place of business, and it’s not appropriate for us to linger,” the City Lord stated, addressing the others. “Please join me at the City Lord’s Manor for a cup of tea.”
The crowd exchanged glances and readily agreed, following him towards the City Lord’s Manor.
As they departed, the medical center gradually emptied. Elder Mo sighed softly, instructed his son to oversee matters, and then headed to the back courtyard.
The small courtyard, originally Elder Mo’s private space for medicinal research, now housed the newcomers. They had requested the Mo Family Medical Hall staff to refrain from entering, ensuring a quiet atmosphere.
At this time, Silver Wolf stood guard outside, while the three children were inside the room, tending to Seventeen, who lay on the bed. Hao’er administered a medicinal pill and explained to Muchen and Muyue, “After feeding these pills that treat internal injuries to Seventeen, there are only two left.”
...Hearing this, the younger children understood why their older brother hadn’t immediately given Seventeen the pills their mother had prepared. The supply was nearly exhausted.
“Big Brother, we’ll be careful and won’t get hurt,” Muyue assured him earnestly, wanting to alleviate his worries.
“Yes, we won’t let ourselves get hurt. Don’t worry, Big Brother. Perhaps we’ll be able to see Father and Mother soon, and then Mother can give us more pills for protection,” Muchen added.
Hao’er nodded and said, “Once Seventeen’s injuries have improved, we’ll stay at the City Lord’s Manor for a few days. We won’t have to travel all the way to that sect. I believe they’ll hear the news and send representatives. We can then accompany them.”
He provided the younger children with instructions and then encouraged them to rest.
Their high-profile arrival in the city had created quite a stir. As Silver Wolf and Hao’er had anticipated, the Floating Edge Immortal Sect heard the news, and the Patriarch, accompanied by two elders and two peak masters, arrived in person.
Three days later, in the medical hall, Elder Mo was examining Seventeen’s pulse. He was surprised by what he felt, his eyes widening slightly. He conducted another careful examination and then looked at Hao’er with a complex expression.
“Did you give him any medicinal pills?” Elder Mo asked.
Hao’er glanced at him and replied, “Yes, a pill for internal injuries. How are his injuries now?”
“The pill you gave him must be exceptionally precious. He has already recovered sixty to seventy percent within three days, despite his severe injuries. It’s truly remarkable,” Elder Mo said, his voice filled with awe.
He looked at the group and added, “With such divine pills, he would have recovered in a few more days even without my prescriptions. He can now get out of bed and walk around.”
In just three days, Seventeen’s injuries had healed to such an extent. Had Elder Mo not personally examined him, he would have found it unbelievable.
This experience reinforced his belief that they were from the Upper Realm. Only such a place could produce such potent medicinal pills, capable of saving a life with a single dose.
