With the release of Thaumcraft and Industrialcraft, it became easier for players to kill Ender Dragon using the resources that came in these DLCs, so the population of players playing Skyblock had increased a lot as more players got the Ender Dragon egg.

And Kamar Taj's disciples got addicted to playing Skyblock too! The economy system of this mini-game was amazing!
