"This is very convenient. I wish I had made this sooner."
"Wow, but this is a little hard to control."
"Rion, you should just do what you can. Fighting is his job after all."
Of the three, only Leon was rolling his eyes.
Her servantGreen DemongreenHe toyed with the monsters, and Bertrand took advantage of the opportunity to slaughter them one after another.
「That’s true! You just need to think about protecting those two, Miss. Of course, I don’t intend to let that pass as my job…Huh!!」
His efficiency had increased compared to before, and he was able to defeat one monster after another, including the Giant Rat, a rat the size of a man's arms, the Almiraj, a rabbit with horns, the Kobold, a bipedal monster with the head of a dog, and the pale Will-o'-the-Wisp, commonly known as Will-o'-the-Wisp, and gather materials from them.
Defeating monsters, the group advanced deeper into the dungeon, eventually reaching a large staircase leading down.
From there it's a somersault.
The four of them escaped the dungeon so quickly that it made one wonder what the point of staying overnight on the way there was.
When we returned to the city, the sun was still high in the afternoon.
After completing the formalities at the Adventurer's Guild counter, the four of them took their seats in the bar.
"With this, the request is complete, but are you two okay? You said that you had come up with your own fighting method, but you haven't tried it out in the field yet."
Bertrand took a sip from his mug of beer.
Apparently, he always has a glass of this after work.
Rion and the others are drinking fruit water.
"That's fine. I'll just try it out somewhere appropriate."
"Even if it doesn't work in real combat, I'm sure Leon's familiar will buy us enough time to escape."
"Are they relying on me!?"
"This is what I mean when I say I'm counting on you. I have no intention of leaving you to fight alone."
"You have to think about the worst case scenario. It probably won't happen."
"Oh, that's right. Don't forget your potions. Having one of them or not could mean the difference between life and death."
As Leon and the others were arguing, Bertrand suddenly interjected as if he had just remembered something.
"Even if you could use healing magic?"
"Can it be used?"
"You can't use recovery magic."
...They may not be able to use healing magic, but Soko and Kenny do have a way to remove wounds.
However, if it was discovered that he had such powers, he would likely be invited to join an adventurer's party, so he decided to keep quiet. Of course, Leon had no intention of telling anyone either.
"Even if you have healing magic, it's better to keep it with you. There are cases where you run out of magical power and are cornered."
"I see, that's possible."
"In that case, wouldn't it be better to have some magic potions as well?"
Bertrand shrugged his shoulders in response to Kenny's reasonable rebuttal.
"Well, it's better to have it if you can. It's expensive compared to normal potions. It's not worth it for a beginner."
"Is that so? Well, it was helpful."
Three days later, Rion and the other three set foot in the Labyrinth of Trials once again.
The reason for waiting a day was because Bertrand had said, "We're probably more tired than we thought, so the theory is that after the exploration is finished, we should rest on the ground for a while," so we followed his advice.
Of the three, only Leon has changed his equipment.
She was clad in a variety of accessories here and there, from earrings and necklaces to wrists and belts, just enough to not look vulgar. Of course, these weren't just any accessories, they were magic items to summon familiars.

"Well then, let's get started. Today's goal is to conquer the first floor, and to confirm the power of our magic."
"Okay. Let me start with 'Where is the enemy?'"
Putting his hands on the ground, Kenny recited "Powerful Words."
"It's over there."
"The enemy is just one goblin!"
Leon put his familiars on standby and entrusted the first attack to Kenny.
"Only one? Then 'Burn!'"
"Gah!?"
Kenny pointed and muttered, and the goblin burst into flames just as he said.
The scream was short, as if the victim had died instantly, and the raging flames quickly died down.
