Chapter 949: Varahan Empress (Part 3)
Mystic Human Council!
Getting into it would obviously imply that Yoribu would influence how the Mystic Humans functioned. There was a significant chance she’ll be in conflict with the Head of the Council, Ruvva, who was affiliated to the Brimgan Empire.
However, the only way the Mystic Humans could have a say in the Varahan Empire was by having its Empress as part of their Council. Similar to how Yoribu would have a say in the affairs of the Mystic Humans, the Mystic Human Council too could have a say in the Varahan Empire’s affairs in the future.
Despite the internal friction they would face by accepting Yoribu as a Councilman, the benefits were far more lucrative, for it paved a way for a Mystic Human to be crowned either the Emperor or Empress of every generation among the Varahan Empire’s Royalty.
With Boul Brimgan on the verge of death and without a powerful heir, the Brimgan Empire was steadily falling into Ruvva’s control. She only had to have Boul Brimgan’s child to cement her authority in the Empire. Her child would then become the next generation’s Brimgan Emperor.
With a Mystic Human’s characteristics, Ruvva could, with some preparation, ensure her child would inherit Boul Brimgan’s talent and be born a Free Human. And if that human also manages to inherit some of her talent, they were guaranteed to be a Mystic Grade existence, as the Brimgan Empire already had a Mystic Grade mineral—Rirenal—in their possession.
Mystic Humans would gradually become the centre of the Free Human Race. They wouldn’t control Free Human societies, but they’ll be an integral part of every Free Human society. They had already gained entry into the Brimgan Empire’s seat of power.
And now, through Yoribu, a path had been made to the Varahan Empire’s seat of power too. The two strongest Free Human Empires with insane financial muscle and an overwhelming level of power had their doors open for Mystic Humans.
With these two as the start, it was just a matter of time before Mystic Humans reached their goal of being the centre of Free Humans.
’Even at the surface level, I can foresee so much benefit and how much closer we’ll reach our goal.’ Councilman Hyak thought and then observed Yoribu, ’She understood everything clearly and has made her move. If we don’t accept her proposition, she’ll operate outside the Council’s influence.’
That would result in a secondary force of Mystic Humans, which the Council didn’t wish to see. Moreover, accepting Yoribu as a Councilman was the only way forward. Simply accepting her as a Mystic Human was an insult to her status.
The moment Yoribu announced herself and was accepted by the Free Humans at the Empyrean Colosseum cemented her status as the Varahan Empress. As the ruler of the Varahan Empire, her status and personal strength commanded her a seat near the top of the Council, not to mention merely being a part of it.
"Please give me some time to relay everything to the council..." Councilman Hyak cupped his fists in response, pausing to see Yoribu smile in response. "You’re accompanying us to the Dralh Sea?"
"That’s exactly why this body left the Varahan Palace in the first place." Yoribu smiled. Before leaving for the Varahan Challenge, Narkahamy had given her plenty of instructions, including his explanation behind each instruction.
So, Yoribu wasn’t just blindly following orders but knew exactly what to do in the situation, ’The political situation is exactly as you have predicted. Revealing myself at the Empyrean Colosseum before everyone has created significant impact.’
There were Wean Clansmen, Free Humans from the Brimgan Empire, Varahan Empire, various Pranic Beast groups, Tribes accompanied by their respective Pranic Beasts, the Mystic Humans, and the Quip Clan.
Revealing herself here meant her existence could never be concealed, as there were too many powerful forces at the scene and no single force had enough means to shush them all.
With the Quip Clan at the scene, there were no secrets. The information might have already been disseminated through their network at the speed of sound.
Therefore, the Mystic Human Council had to give a response, one that would push them a bit away from the Brimgan Empire’s control. But at the same time, it would bring the two Free Human Empires closer, strengthening them against other Clans, especially the Wean Clan.
"Please follow me, then. We’ll make our return." Councilman Hyak stated respectfully. He wanted the Boar King’s power and now, the Mystic Humans obtained it through Yoribu. His declaration also implied that Yoribu was now considered as part of the Dralh Sea’s Mystic Humans. It served as a warning towards KalTara.
If he were to attack them, it would be considered an open invitation to war against the Mystic Human Race.
Of course, KalTara wasn’t worried about a war. Rather, he was prepared for it since the moment he revealed his State of Harmony, aware it would turn the entire Free Human Race into enemies.
"Leader!" FyorBuntara landed beside KalTara and whispered in his ear, "They’ve started to arrive."
"How many are here at the moment?" KalTara asked.
"800 Forest Boars, 100 Murky Boars, and around 400 Heavy Boars." FyorBuntara responded, "I was waiting for the arrival of the higher variants, but upon sensing a Boar King’s presence, I had to come out urgently."
"Return to your station and lead them to war." KalTara said and announced his command to the Wean Clan, "Return to Binkn City!"
Even though he would love to destroy everyone at the scene, KalTara was growing tired. His fight against Narkahamy had taken a severe toll on him. He had to get some rest before resuming to fight, especially in a situation where he was getting jumped by all sorts of opponents.
