Chapter 943: A New Era For Free Humans
"What...what the heck is that?" Right as KalTara muttered as such, he noticed his heartrate spiking all of a sudden, followed by every inch of his skin being covered by goosebumps, including the groin area.
The Narkahamy Aurora slowly made eye contact with him and then...winked, "Argh!"
Thump! Thump!
Suddenly, KalTara noticed that he was on the ground, his legs having lost their balance. And simultaneously, the five individual bodies of his, with each of their two tusks having a Human Avatar of Narkahamy, screamed.
Actually, the individual bodies were the one screaming. The 5-Life Stage self of KalTara wasn't feeling any issues, but as they were all within each other's Spirit Weapon range, their minds remained connected.
'This isn't good!' The 5-Life Stage KalTara realised as he hurriedly used Shredded Lunge and retreated to a corner of the Empyrean Colosseum. From there, he stared in horror as his five individual bodies were...melting.
They weren't simply melting, but looked like they were getting eaten from the inside. And all the nutrients that formed their bodies were being funnelled into their tusks, causing the latter's size to increase.
"Watch it...KalTara," Narkahamy muttered with a weak beath as he grinned with a maniacal expression, "This is my life's work."
"One that would change Sumatra as a whole."
As he spoke, the five bodies of KalTara dried up completely, turning into withered husks as even their skeletal structures crumbled. Every gram worth of nutrient in it had been funnelled into the tusks, which now emitted clattering sounds, as if they were being broken and joined piece by piece.
The first Boar King's tusk, which spanned a size of thirty metres slowly lost its lustre and turned transparent, revealing a cocoon of concentrated Vara in the centre. It was incubating something there, which had been the culprit that had sucked all nutrients from KalTara's body.
"Do you know what my power is, KalTara?" Narkahamy asked as he stared at the confused expression of the Wean Clan Leader, "It is indeed the Blessed Influence, kekeke! No, I don't have any special trump cards beyond this."
"But you see, trump cards can be countered. However, even if this exists, because of how basic it is, it cannot be countered due to its sheer versatility. That's what I did," Narkahamy commented as the first concentrated Vara cocoon shattered, "I simply dialled back to the basics."
Primary Nature—Gracious Inheritor!
Secondary Nature—Voracious Nature!
Tertiary Nature—Vara Accum!
"Inheritance, limitless consumption, and a stackable hoard; they are the basic functions of my build." Narkahamy grinned as a humanoid figure burst out of the first tusk, "And now, when my Human Avatar doesn't have any Natures stored in it, is when this becomes possible, my influence."
State of Harmony—Blessed Influence!
Blessed Influence—Narkahamy!
"Your...influence?" KalTara expressed the absurdity that every Wean Clansman at the scene intended to express, "That's impossible! A Free Human doesn't emit their own influence. You simply are subjected to the influence of the mineral built into your Human Avatar. There is no way..."
"There is a way," Narkahamy said and stared at the sky, "Do you know how the first Empyrean Boar Aurora appeared? Or rather, through whom was all this possible?"
Immediately in response, an image appeared in KalTara's mind, "Grandfather? No, it's not in the slightest possible to tap into his power!"
"What do you think forms the Human Avatars of the Royal Guards created to protect your grandmother and grandfather?" Narkahamy chuckled, "Yes, it's the Celestial Boar's Vara."
"And what is the Nature born as a result of the Celestial Boar's Vara?" Narkahamy let out a wide grin, "Gracious Inheritance, indeed."
"Now, I'm not sure you're aware...No, you're definitely aware of it," Narkahamy eyed Kenka Echo, "Since it's readily available in the Quip Clan, for a steep price."
"The Celestial Boar was capable of seeping its influence into the Tangible Natures of its Astral World." Narkahamy announced, "My Vara Accum has simply reached a point where I've been enabled to do the same. Of course, I'm limited to my Human Avatar."
"However, my State of Harmony is built to capitalise influences." As he uttered, the ten overgrown tusks shattered, revealing Vara Human Avatar forms of Narkahamy, ten in total.
These Vara Human Avatars looked no different from if Narkahamy assumed his Human Avatar form. However, the one difference was the fact that the individual in question was on the floor nearby, bereft of a Spirit Container.
Blessed Influence—Narkahamy!
The first Narkahamy Vara Human Avatar tilted its head and took a step forward, awkward in its action. However, the moment it moved, every individual at the Empyrean Colosseum seemed to have lost their mind.
This Human Avatar was functioning on its own, without being controlled by the cultivator who built it.
An Autonomous Human Avatar!
'What are they doing?' Even though KalTara wanted to interrupt the process, he couldn't.Partially, fear gripped his heart, preventing him from compromising his situation further, as he couldn't understand how the scene before him could even happen.
However, he was mostly curious too, as someone who had been researching all his time trying to develop the Wean Clan's build. He wanted to know just what Narkahamy had invented, 'He's probably the only one who managed to tap into a fraction of grandfather's limitless potential.'
At the start, KalTara was curious to find out if the Celestial Boar's Vara was any different from his own. His Vara resulted in a Silver Grade Human Avatar while the Celestial Boar's resulted in a Gold Grade Human Avatar.
Other than the Natures that differed between the two Human Avatars, there didn't seem to be anything special. After all, KalTara was confident that as long as he became the Empyrean Boar King, his Vara too could create Gold Grade Human Avatars.
He tried a lot of things, including experimenting on the Human Avatars of the Royal Guards who had remained loyal to the Wean Clan. Neither he, nor the Royal Guards themselves could figure out anything special from the Celestial Boar's Vara.
But somehow, Narkahamy did. And hence, KalTara was curious, 'I can replicate whatever he did. This will improve our strength by leaps and bounds, even without relying on Astral Chart.'
The Narkahamy Vara Human Avatar slowly walked towards the second of its kind and came in contact, merging into one.
