Chapter 918: The Varahan Challenge
Millanir was a gelatinous substance, with little structural integrity. The Human Avatar form was fragile at the Body Stage, but became reinforced through the Life Stages. But that was it.
Unlike most Free Humans who relied on the toughness of their Human Avatar forms during a battle, Shuwrak Zahara had to fight in his human form. This was why his Secondary Nature of Tangible Millinger was so valuable. It provided him the necessary physical defence.
Even if it wasn't as strong as a Millinger, it still gave him the toughness of a Gold Grade Pranic Beast, which was more than enough to face most situations. After all, even a Centinger could take a beating from a Gold Grade Pranic Beast for a short duration in a one-on-one situation.
A Millinger's defences were vastly advanced as compared to a Centinger.
Both tusk bone powder and the Biome Bomb were hard materials. So, Inala could use force during his hammering session. However, Millanir was too weak. If his psychokinesis was even a tad strong, the Millanir would either spill out of his arm or dissolve into his blood and cause issues in blood circulation and even organ failures.
Thanks to his three sets of internal organs, Inala could endure these mistakes and gradually clean himself during the process, ensuring to slowly but steadily infuse Millanir into his left
arm.
It first fused into the bones, turning them brittle. Following that, it gradually pervaded the organ parts of the hand and turned the whole structure jelly-like.
Every day, Shuwrak Zahara woke up and observed Inala in astonishment, truly amazed by a Brully's capability to work nonstop, "Do you never need to rest?"
"A Brully rests only at death." Inala chuckled without missing a beat in his hammering actions. His Billakin Hammer had been widened at the face to give a more even force distribution onto his left hand.
The force behind his hits was gentle, causing soft thuds. On the fourth day, Shuwrak Zahara was even more amazed, "What about your...daily needs?"
"You mean eating, shitting, and taking a bath?" Inala chuckled, "My body constantly maintains the process of digestion and excretion."
"Wait..." Shuwrak Zahara looked at the toilet in the cave in confusion, "I never saw you heading there even once, whether to take a dump or urinate."
"That's a Brully speciality." Inala stated in pride, "It takes but a second for us to dump everything. And we launch it with such precise bowel movements that there's no sound or disturbance produced from the impact."@@novelbin@@
"That's why you never used it." Inala explained, "Had you maintained your Prana detection means throughout this cave, you might have noticed it."
As for cleaning himself, it was a process similar to what Mammoth Clansman did using Prana. A mere unit of Prana was more than enough to clean oneself up. Every Pranic Beast was instinctively capable of such, when they want to, of course.
Many Pranic Beasts rely on their foul odour to evade predators. Hygiene and its lack of were merely survival tactics.
Free Humans maintained it, for that was a necessity to procreate and live about as a community. Every Pranic Beast race had their respective tradition when it came to it.
For a Brully, these processes were a waste of time. Hence, their excretory organs behaved in such a way that all their body waste was concentrated, which could then be ejected by the Brully in a single shot.
Thereby, they'll only waste one second of their busy lives-fighting.
"What an insane race!" Shuwrak Zahara muttered. The more he knew about a Brully, the more he never wanted to face Inala in combat. 'They're built to fight and that alone. Everything they're capable of just to facilitate them a better fighting experience.'
"That's also why we're almost extinct now." Inala eyed Shuwrak Zahara's face and could guess the latter's thoughts, "At a time when the Brimgan Empire was created, we roamed all across Sumatra. But due to our culture, our numbers dwindled since we never cared about future generations."
