Chapter 31 – Anger

 

He couldn’t explain the reason, perhaps it was to make up for his deficiencies or just to try to found a point of equilibrium . Nonetheless, he was sure of one thing, he loved the innocence of the Little White Rabbit . But he was even more fond when sometimes the Little White Rabbit plays hard to catch with him . When he is with the Little White Rabbit, he felt like he had finally returned home and could finally relax . By her side, he felt at ease and could temporarily let go of his army business .
The Little White Rabbit had asked him wherever if he was angry . And her guess was on the mark . He indeed was upset, but just when he had arrived, he saw that she had hurt her finger . Thus he got a little moved and held back his anger .
As soon as he had finished the job, he immediately took a non-stop flight towards his home . All that just to make sure that his woman was still in his grasp .
Her finger was still dripping blood . Thus even if he wanted to take her, he had to stop the bleeding first . So he embraced her with his strong arms and carried her up .
“I had only hurt my finger . ” She said and then completed: “Isn’t a little too much to ask for a princess carry because of that?”

She suddenly realized one thing with blinking eyes . This man usually didn’t handle any housework, and even was quite a boorish man . But whenever it was anything related to her, he was absolutely attentive .
She looked down and noticed that he’d walked right in the door with his shoes on . Therefore he wasn’t afraid of stepping on the plate’s fragments . He was careful with her, but he was careless with everything else .


“Why did you kept your shoes on inside the house?”
“I didn’t get it dirty . Aren’t you a little too fond of house chores?”
Huh? The tone of this retort was a bit explosive . He really was angry, and it was obvious that he was angry with her .

She taught that it was quite amusing, she didn’t know what she had done to stir him up . Because since they had met, she had always been the one in anger . For her, it wasn’t common to see him lose control over his emotions . And that only happened a single time, that time when she had fled to the United States without saying goodby . But he never did anything terrible to her, at most he bullied her in bed .
When she thought about it, she realized she wasn’t afraid of him . Additionally, the more she came to accept his love, the bolder she became towards him . She let him carry her to the couch, then watched as he went to get the medical kit to disinfect and stop the bleeding from her wounds .


The wound was small, thus the bleeding stopped quickly . Then once he put the medicine, her wounds were carefully bandaged .
She found that he was quite good at helping people take care of their wounds . That reminded her of the scars he had on his body . There were two large scars and several small ones .
That indicates that he had been injured a lot in the past . So he was very good at treating wounds . Thus under his laughter and cursing, there were a lot of hidden stories behind each of those wounds . It seemed that she should take some time to get to know him better .
“Now . Can you tell me what had made you angry?” She tilted her head and softly asked him .
Zhong Zhendong snorted and lower his gaze . Then without warning took her to sit on his lap . Whenever he was about to torture her, he always had the tendency of trapping her in his arms .


“That is what I want to question you . Had you done anything wrong to me?”
When she heard what he said, she knew what he was talking about . But still kept playing dumb .
“Me? To you? Like what?”
“Bai Shuli . ” He gave her a direct answer .
“Shuli? Do you know about him?”
