Approximately 5,000 years ago part 4

Since Maria appeared, the intellectual level of the villagers continued improving.

They learned the way to use fire and tools, started to hunt and cook efficiently and even began to farm. A language system was put in place and they began to write characters. They formed villages as their population increased.

Their leader was, of course, Maria.

Thanks to Maria, the villagers were able to do more than 100 years of normal evolution in just 5 years.

Because of that, Maria felt satisfied.

But, five years ended up passing already.

Help didn’t come, but during that time, Maria came to understand her powers.

Broadly speaking, she had 2 powers.

The first one was: if she grasped the ?amulet? while wishing for it to have a form or use it like in a certain way, then its shape would change.

And the second one was: she could attack using a?mysterious power?that was dormant in the bottom of her body like when she fought with the wolf to save the boy. With it, she could also spread a barrier.

She noticed other two things.

One was that Maria appeared to practically not age.

Maybe that was the effect of the space adaptation surgery.

It may be better to say that she remembered more than noticing the other one.

When she noticed, the light emitted by the?mysterious power?was strikingly similar to the one emitted from the bodies of the Savages.

With that, Maria finally hit on a conclusion.

That mysterious power looked as if she inherited it from the Savages.

She didn’t get after all this time what timing was this.

But if she inherited this power from the Savages, could she transfer it to others?

Maria, who thought so, decided to give it a try.

If something from the body of the Savages infected her, then it was fine to make them be infected of their own accord.

Blood, saliva??.

She thought, and the result: she decided to kiss a girl of the settlement.

Then, that girl came to emit light using that?mysterious power? just like Maria.

Then she thought that this could be the same for other people, but nobody else was infected.

Maybe there was a pattern like blood type.

The?mysterious power?would transfer even if she just kissed their foreheads, but there were persons whose powers didn’t work, they wouldn’t do anything at all.

On the contrary, some suffered even though they just received her saliva and in the end, they died.

The other thing she knew was that the older and older the other person was, the less likely that person would be infected by her powers.

In other words, if her type wasn’t compatible, she would have probably died when she was attacked by the Savages, and if she were too old, she probably wouldn’t have obtained this power.

She was lucky to be able to survive.

After that, Maria tried to avoid contact with others as much as possible.

There was a possibility she might end up killing the villagers.

Another thing she thought was that she could reign on this planet as God since the humans of this planet had no powers.

Maria followed that idea and solidified even more her position as God.

However, there was absolutely no approach regarding rescue signals.

… Nonetheless, she hated the idea of dying on this planet.

She wanted to go back to Planet Notre Dame.

She wanted to go back to the person who was waiting for her there??to go back to Glen.

But, her anxiety was too much for her mind.
