Once I got home, Jiang Li gave me a strange look . “Guan Xiao Yan, what did you buy today?”

“Me? Oh, I brought nothing . ” Originally, I was planning to have Xue Yun Feng to get me the female attire but was coincidentally interrupted by my dad .

“Then, what do you plan to get me?”

Eh? I don’t understand this part . Buy him what? Why should I buy him something?

Upon seeing my confused look, Jiang Li felt a rushing temper erupting . “You asked what I wanted today! Did you forget about it already?!”

Oh . It seems like Jiang Li has misunderstood . I shook my head and explained, “That……I didn’t plan to buy anything . I was only asked for Xue Yun Feng . “

“What?” Jiang Li squints his eyes, a hint of danger causing Guan Xiao Yan to retreat . “You only asked for someone else?”

I was shocked by his reaction and unknowingly nodded my head .

Jiang Li puts one arm on the door tilting it slightly, and I soon was enveloped by his oppressing shadow . Nervously, I leaned on the door with my heart hating that I can’t be a hedgehog . I shrank more into the corner and trembled . “Jiang Li… . what happened to you?” Even a pervert can’t be this perverted! Heck, scaring me to death .

Probably due to the illusion of being too nervous, I seemed to have heard Jiang Li faltering . He grits his teeth and comments . “Guan Xiao Yan, you are really brave . En?” The familiar word of “en”, carried a hint of a threatening tone .

I realized that a pervert’s mind is too hard to grasp .  It is simply inexplicable . So I forced myself to relax and brought the little courage I have to face his pair of dark eyes . “Jiang Li, just say what you want . Don’t use these horrible methods to play with me . It can kill someone…” My voice held a trembling uncertainty . Fine, it’s true that I am no good .

“What do I want?” Jiang Li raises one of his brows, pondering . “My birthday is coming soon . Whatever you may say, you need to get me a present . Right?” While saying, he retreated his hands and stood up straight looking calmly at me as if just that horrible creature is an entirely another person … Along with that tone, still carrying a feeling beyond doubt . After he finished, he thought for a moment and added . “If you do not give, I might consider bullying you . ”

What the heck! He had already started bullying me long ago, ah . Wiping my sweat, I said with a dissatisfied voice . “Why should I buy you a present?” I have to waste my salary, do you not know?

Jiang Li unceasingly pouts . “But you are my wife . ”

I became even more unconvinced . “You are my husband! Where was my present when it was my birthday?!”

Jiang Li: “Then I will make it up tomorrow . ”

I became speechless . This elder’s birthday passed a long time ago, why would you give me a present in the middle of December? You still have the face to do this?

Although I am Jiang Li’s personal chef, I still need to have my own breaks during the weekends . So when Jiang Li recognized my complaint, I became surprised . He is usually not this open mind…

Thus, on Sunday, I decided to sleep like a dead log . Even Saturday’s loss of sleep was made up with Sunday’s . However, Heaven was not so kind to me .

One morning on Sunday, I dreamt of Jiang Li . He kept on shaking me on the bed . Shaking and shaking and shaking me so much . I rolled over impatiently and casually said, “Do not mess around . ” And then slept again .

Jiang Li’s clear refreshing voice came from the top . “Guan Xiao Yan, if you don’t wake up, I will rip your clothes . ”

You dare! I will flip you over!

Jiang Li as if he can read the mental mind pulled me from my sleep . “See if I dare or not . ”

I can only grudgingly get up, brush my hair and squint my eyes furiously . “What the heck are you doing?! If you want breakfast, go buy it downstairs . If you want to get fritters then buy fritters . If you want to drink soy milk then buy soy milk . ” Why is it my problem?

Jiang Li grabbed the back of my collar and brought me down from the bed . “Hurry and wash your face . I have a present to give you . ”

I can only rub my eyes and inexplicably walk to the bathroom .

After washing up, I felt a lot more awake and refreshed . Although I am still a bit muddled, I pick myself to the living room . Sitting on the sofa, I screamed out . “Jiang Li, what sort of gimmicks are you doing this time?”

Jiang Li suddenly brought out a large box placing it before me . “Birthday present . ”

Birth…birthday present? I confusingly looked at him . At that moment, a loud pang erupted within my head . I remember now, he did mention something about making up my birthday present . Cough cough, although my birthday has passed since four months ago .

Fine . Since the present is already on my face, not receiving it will be considered as ungrateful . Thus, I opened the large box . The inside of the box seems to be quite suspicious . I don’t even know what is inside . Seeing Jiang Li so capable of bringing such a present before me… . don’t tell me it is just a brick?

And seeing the size of the box made me realize . If it is a brick, it won’t just be one .

Thinking up till here, the hand that was attempting to open the package stopped . I looked suspiciously at Jiang Li .

Jiang not comprehending my reaction asked me, “What’s wrong?”

I cleared my throat and replied . “Jiang Li, tell me truthfully . What is inside of here?”

Jiang Li gazed upon the box, his eyes lighting with mirth . “If you do not open the box, how will you know? Relax, there are no bombs inside . ”

Still unconvinced, I pressed on with my suspicion and voiced it out . “Inside… . it’s okay . I know there are bricks inside, right?”

“Guan . Xiao . Yan!” Jiang Li grits his teeth spitting out those three words .

I thus thought, so what if it’s bricks? This joke, I will play along . Bringing my smile that had etched on my face, I smoothly unraveled the present .

And then, I became startled .

It was a thin white notebook laptop on the inside of the box .  As if a holy beauty, lying on a large bed—please forgive my language level, analogy sentence can be used to this extent, is already my limit .

I shuddered at the white apple that had been bitten and asked excitedly, “Is this something very expensive?

Jiang Li proudly retorted . “Don’t bother with the price tag… . Are you happy with it?”

I hurriedly nodded my head furiously . Yes ah! I am so happy that my tears could create the Nile . “But Jiang Li, since you gave me such an expensive present… . Does that mean when it’s your birthday, I have to……”

Jiang Li annoyingly put down his face . ” It is your choice to take it or not . ” While saying, he reached to grab it back .

I pressed my hands tightly to the surface of the notebook and laughed like a bandit . “Uh… . That… . . Thank you!”

Jiang Li swept his gaze at me . With a look of ‘I will not lower myself to your standards,’ he said, “Actually, I don’t need any expensive gifts . As long the mind and heart is behind the present itself . Naturally . . ” He turns his focuses his gaze to my face and seriously threatens . “If you don’t want to use your heart, then you can harshly spend the money to replace the message . ”

Cough cough . I will put my heart . I have to use my heart .

However, as I am experiencing this perverted bullying, I intend to find my way back in words . “Jiang Li, if such a person is having his birthday, then it will be the beginning of the darkness to the world!”

Jiang Li didn’t back then but refuted . “Then the moment you were born, it marked the end of humanity’s brilliance .

Me: “…… . . ”

What the heck! Cursing at people can still be this artistic . Jiang Li, you pervert!
