“Ah…”
Wendy, small and adorable, and Carla, pure white and tiny, were both blown into the sky by the force of the terrifying blast.
“Are you two okay?”
Luckily, Silver of Absolute Zero, who had been watching Evan’s back, acted swiftly. At the critical moment, he jumped and caught both Wendy and Carla as they were blown away.
“We’re fine…”
“Sorry for the trouble.”
Wendy was embarrassed that she, a Sky Dragon Slayer, had been blown away by the mere wind, blushed and apologized to the handsome Silver.
“No! The purpose of a gentleman is to serve the ladies, so it’s no trouble at all…”
Silver smiled at Wendy, his voice magnetic, subtly charming both Wendy and Carla.
After gently setting Wendy and Carla down behind him, Silver erected a wall of ice to shield them from the blast’s shockwaves, then looked towards Evan.
“This is…”
Silver watched the scene, sweat forming on his brow.
“Truly worthy of the Fairy Tail guild, one of the Ten Wizard Saints, Evan Belserion! This power is extraordinary!”
“But such magic and this terrifying power, is it really something a human can wield? It feels like a living dragon is standing before me, roaring…”
Silver watched Evan unleash his roar, realizing that Evan was more like a dragon than a human, an entity at the top of the magical food chain—mysterious and noble.
“Compared to Evan, my power is still too weak!”
Silver shook his head lightly. Even though he was among the top three in Tartaros, he had no chance against Evan.
A battle between them would probably end in an instant, with Evan emerging victorious in a single strike.
Meanwhile…
Evan’s roar collided with the magic extracted from the earth by Nirvana.
Compared to Evan’s roar, Nirvana’s gathered magic seemed insignificant.
In just one clash, Nirvana’s magic was overwhelmed and destroyed!
“Roar!!”
Evan’s roar surged forward with dragon-like ferocity, consuming everything in its path.
“What is that?!”
“It destroyed Nirvana’s cannon in an instant?”
“This is Nirvana! Do you know how much Nirvana is worth? How much?!”
“Damn it, why is there something this terrifying in the world? It’s even more like a demon than us!”
“How much would a creature like that be worth? Damn!!”
Franmal, staring at the destructive white light, shouted angrily, but he knew it was too late.
“Keith…”
Franmal called softly to his companion beside him.
“I’m here…”
Keith, with a skeletal face and black robe, nodded.
“If I die, can you bring me back with your necromancy?”
Franmal asked softly.
“No.”
Keith responded coldly.
“Why?”
Franmal asked, confused.
“Because I will die next…”
Keith’s expression remained icy, showing no fear of death.
“Haha, that’s true.”
“By the way, how much will our deaths be worth?”
Franmal laughed his usual phrase on his lips, before disappearing into the white light.
“Boom!!!!”
The terrifying white light swallowed Nirvana, burning through more than thirty towering mountains before crashing into the earth with a deafening roar. A colossal mushroom cloud rose into the atmosphere, sending shockwaves and debris flying towards Cait Shelter.
“Absolute Defense!”
As the shockwave approached, Evan erected a powerful shield, blocking the terrifying force.
Minutes later…
When the dust settled, Wendy and the others dusted themselves off and looked into the distance, eyes wide in shock.
Nirvana and the mountains were gone, reduced to nothing under Evan’s roar. The once majestic landscape was now a desolate wasteland.
Under the dragon’s roar, all was equal, all was peaceful…
“Robin Lu? I think I’ve destroyed Nirvana.”
Evan turned to Robin Lu, asking with a smile.
“One strike! Really, one strike destroyed Nirvana? Was it because you obliterated not only Nirvana but also the crystals and the earth it drew magic from?”
Robin Lu couldn’t answer, his eyes wide, mouth agape, staring at the desolate landscape. Shock overwhelmed him.
“Robin Lu? Are you okay?”
Evan asked, smiling as he saw Robin Lu’s stunned expression.
“You did destroy Nirvana, but this is too much! The forest and mountains are all gone!”
Robin Lu sat down heavily. The ice imprisoning him had shattered under the shockwave, freeing him.
With Robin Lu’s words, Evan completed two missions, earning two ten-year badges.
“Indeed…”
“This is your home for four hundred years, after all!”
“In that case…”
Evan nodded, realizing he had gone too far. He decided to restore the land.
“Rapid Growth!”
With a touch of his toe, the barren wasteland glowed white. Instantly, countless plants sprouted and grew at an incredible speed, turning the wasteland into a forest of towering trees.
“Robin Lu, isn’t this better?”
Evan smiled at Robin Lu after restoring the forest.
Because Nirvana’s location was originally a desolate jungle, Evan felt no burden in his actions.
“Yes, the forest is back, but these trees are too tall! It’s not a forest anymore; it’s a kingdom of giant trees!”
Looking at the towering trees, Robin Lu couldn’t help but comment.
“Huff, huff…”
“Anyway, everything is resolved.”
After commenting on the trees, Robin Lu breathed heavily. The four-hundred-year-old burden was finally lifted, and he felt a sense of relief.
“Hm?”
“Oh, it seems my roar attracted some troublesome presence~”
As Evan smiled at Robin Lu, his expression grew serious.
“Personality Addition!”
Unfazed, Evan waved his hand, touching several nearby hundred-meter-tall trees…
“Roar!!”
In an instant, the trees transformed into roaring dragons with spread wings, right before the eyes of Robin Lu, Silver, Wendy, and Carla…
“A dragon! It’s a dragon…”
Wendy felt a deep sense of familiarity, loving dragons since the Sky Dragon, Grandeeney, raised her.
“Go~”
“Lead it away~”
“Now is not the time for a fight.”
Evan whispered to the dragons, stroking their heads gently.
“…”
The dragons nodded, spread their wings, and disappeared into the sky, becoming tiny black dots.
“Now, where were we?”
After sending off the dragons, Evan turned to Wendy and the others.
“E-Evan, who are you? How can you create dragons?”
Nervous and hopeful, Wendy asked about the dragons, hoping to find clues about her mother, Grandeeney.
“No, those weren’t real dragons, just illusions to deceive certain beings. They’ll be destroyed soon.”
Evan explained the nature of the dragons he created.
“Illusions?”
Wendy, understanding Evan’s explanation, realized the dragons were fake.
“Evan, do you know where the dragons, who once lived in this world, went?”
“I want to know where my mother, Grandeeney, the Sky Dragon who taught me Sky Dragon Slayer Magic, went. She disappeared on July 7, X777…”
Wendy, nervously, asked Evan, hoping he had answers.
“Hehe…”
Evan smiled at Wendy’s anxiousness.
“I know this might be too much to ask. If you don’t know, that’s okay. I’ll keep searching…”
Wendy trembled, knowing she might be asking too much. She had asked many people over the years, but none knew the dragons’ whereabouts.
“I know~”
Evan patted Wendy’s head gently.
“R-Really?!”
Wendy’s eyes widened in surprise.
“Tell me, where did the dragons go?”
Wendy asked eagerly.
“The Fire Dragon King, Moon Dragon, Sacred Dragon, Wise Dragon, and Azure Dragon are all in Fairy Tail…”
“If Wendy joins Fairy Tail, you might meet a dragon~”
“Of course, if Wendy joins Fairy Tail, there’s a chance you could meet Grandeeney~”
“I’ve told you where the dragons are…”
“Finding them is up to you, Wendy.”
Evan smiled, patting Wendy’s head again.
“Don’t deceive Wendy!”
Seeing Evan’s demeanor, Carla was annoyed, flying up to scold him.
“Haha, I’m telling the truth…”
Evan smiled, unfazed by Carla’s scolding. He was indeed telling the truth, but no one believed him.
He wasn’t speaking to Carla, Wendy, or the others. He was addressing Grandeeney within Wendy, informing her that Igneel and Selene were in Fairy Tail.
“No, Carla, Evan isn’t lying…”
Wendy shook her head, feeling that Evan was truthful.
“Wendy?!”
Wendy’s conviction took Carla aback.
“Hmph, if Wendy says so, fine…”
Carla relented, trusting Wendy’s judgment.
“Hehe…”
Evan chuckled lightly.
“But Evan, I might not be able to join Fairy Tail.”
“I’ve already found my home…”
Wendy smiled sweetly at Evan.
“No, Wendy, you should go to Fairy Tail…”
Robin Lu, who had been silent, suddenly spoke up.
“Robin Lu?!”
Wendy looked at him, puzzled.
“Wendy, you have a place where you belong. You should go there and find real companions! With real friends, you won’t need fake ones…”
“Nirvana is destroyed, my mission is complete…”
“Mage of Fairy Tail~”
“Take care of Wendy…”
Robin Lu addressed Wendy first, then Evan.
Robin Lu understood Evan’s words were meant for him. Evan assured him that Fairy Tail would take care of Wendy, allowing him to rest in peace.
As Robin Lu smiled at Evan, his body began to dissolve into light, rising
towards the sky.
“Robin Lu, you…”
Evan frowned, knowing he could keep Robin Lu in this world.
“Boy! I didn’t stay to live; I stayed to atone!”
“Now, after four hundred years, I’m tired! With Nirvana destroyed, let me rest!”
“My family is waiting for me on the other side! They’ve waited four hundred years; it’s time to join them…”
Robin Lu smiled, stopping Evan.
“Very well. I wish you peace in the other world.”
Evan blessed Robin Lu.
“Take care of Wendy and Carla…”
Robin Lu’s form faded, his last words hanging in the air before he vanished into countless light particles.
“Robin Lu!”
Wendy trembled, wanting to ask him to stay but knowing it was selfish. She remained silent, kneeling and crying.
“Wendy…”
As Wendy cried, she heard Robin Lu’s voice.
“Hm?”
She turned and saw Evan, reaching out his hand to her.
“Wendy, as a member of Fairy Tail, I officially invite you to join us and become part of Fairy Tail…”
Evan smiled at the tearful Wendy.
“Evan…”
Wendy hesitated, then took his hand.
“Good, that means you agree to join Fairy Tail. No backing out~”
Evan pulled Wendy up and patted her head, smiling.
“Don’t bully Wendy!”
Carla, seeing Evan force Wendy to join, was annoyed.
“And Carla, I invite you to join Fairy Tail too.”
Evan smiled, not minding Carla’s attitude. After all, who wouldn’t want a tsundere cat?
“Hmph, it depends on Wendy’s choice~”
Carla, oblivious to Evan’s true intentions, huffed.
“Since Robin Lu wanted me to join Fairy Tail, I’ll go see what it’s like…”
Wendy agreed, curious about Fairy Tail.
“Good girl…”
“And you, Carla?”
Evan asked, respecting Carla’s choice despite knowing she would join if Wendy did.
“Hmph, if Wendy joins, I will too~”
Carla, looking at Wendy and Evan, agreed.
“Excellent…”
With Wendy and Carla’s agreement, Evan relaxed.
“Now, let’s talk about you, Silver of Absolute Zero, member of Tartaros’s Nine Demon Gates…”
“Or should I say, Silver Fullbuster?”
Evan turned to the last remaining member of Tartaros, Silver Fullbuster, Grey’s father resurrected by Keith.
“Huh?!”
Silver was shocked, first by Evan knowing his true identity, then by still being alive after Keith’s death.
“No need to be shocked; you’re still here because I intervened.”
Evan smiled at Silver, speaking as if it were a simple matter.
