“So, Evan, where are we heading next?”
Mirajane looked at Evan with a hint of confusion in her eyes. She was puzzled as to why Evan had suddenly brought her along without any explanation.
“We’re going to a place that will help you become stronger~”
Evan smiled at Mirajane. The demons of Tartaros were numerous and powerful, perfect for helping Mirajane increase her strength.
After all, Evan didn’t plan to keep all of Zeref’s demons. For example, he wouldn’t take any that were ugly.
“Oh?!”
Mirajane’s confused expression instantly brightened. She had a strong desire to become more powerful. Unlike in the original story, Mirajane hadn’t lost her magical resolve because she failed to protect her siblings. Instead, she had hidden her true self, keeping her desire for combat outside the guild. Her goals remained unchanged: to surpass Erza and defeat Laxus.
She wouldn’t miss any opportunity to become stronger.
“Alright, since you understand, let’s head out now.”
Evan grabbed Mirajane with one hand and Seilah with the other. In a flash, they disappeared from the bustling Fairy Tail guild.
“……”
Not long after Evan disappeared, a beautiful girl with long scarlet hair pulled out a remote communication crystal from her backpack.
“Hello, Mom? Evan took two girls out on a date!”
“The situation is serious. I suspect Gildarts is a bad influence on him…”
The scarlet-haired beauty was none other than Erza. Her eyes held an indiscernible emotion, but Laxus, who had fought alongside her countless times, knew it was a cold, killing intent.
“Hmm?!”
Gildarts, who had just finished a spar with Kurnuki and was about to have a drink with Makarov at the bar, suddenly felt a surge of murderous intent! A large character representing “danger” appeared in his mind.
“Not again…”
Gildarts chuckled bitterly and downed his drink. His eyes were clear, fully prepared for whatever was coming next—such was his everyday life.
Meanwhile…
At the Magic Council.
Precht and Warrod stood together, their expressions serious. Before they were fully armed soldiers. Since Tartaros had opened its gates, it was time to bring them down.
With the dissolution of Grimoire Heart, Tartaros was undoubtedly the greatest threat on the continent. Defeating Tartaros would usher in an era of peace—well, an era of Fairy Tail’s dominance.
“Ahem, an era of true peace.”
“Report! Chairman Warrod, the army is ready!”
As Warrod and Precht were preparing, Jellal, now a golden streak of light, appeared before them, reporting.
After gaining Warrod as a deep and profound mentor, Jellal’s magical prowess had skyrocketed, nearing the level of a Ten Wizard Saint.
Behind Jellal stood five young mages who had been brought to the Council by Evan: Macbeth, Sawyer, Kōna, Erik, and Richard. Thanks to Evan’s and Jellal’s influence, their abilities far surpassed those of their counterparts in the original story.
Wally and the others had been reassigned to the support troops due to their insufficient strength. Simon, meanwhile, had taken over the task force for the Cult of Zeref from Lahar.
“These guys, if I remember correctly, were chosen by that fool Brain as vessels to seal his inner persona, Zero, right?”
Precht recognized the five young mages behind Jellal, his expression contemplative.
Precht knew about the five because they were selected by Brain, the former director of the Magic Development Bureau, to suppress his inner persona, Zero. Initially, Ultear was also chosen by Brain, but her magical power far exceeded his standards, making it impossible for him to control her. Thus, Brain had left Ultear to Precht, someone who could restrain her immense talent.
“When Evan defeated the Magic Council, the children of the Tower of Heaven didn’t join Fairy Tail but came to work for the Council? Could it be that behind Makarov’s supposed trafficking business was Warrod? No, perhaps it was all Warrod’s plan…”
Precht’s pupils trembled as he felt he had discovered a significant secret. He knew Makarov wouldn’t stray easily, but with guidance, anything was possible. Warrod’s role became highly suspicious.
“Buzz~”
As Precht pondered, a light suddenly appeared before him and Warrod. In the next moment, three figures appeared before them.
“What is this…”
The sight took aback Precht and Warrod.
“Long time no see, Precht, Warrod-senpai…”
Among the three figures, a young man with short reddish-brown hair stood before Precht, smiling brightly.
“It’s that little demon Evan!”
Precht’s pupils narrowed upon recognizing the young man with reddish-brown hair—Evan Belserion, the last person Precht wanted to see.
Behind Evan stood two girls. One had long white hair, wore a simple white dress, and exuded a gentle, neighborly charm. As soon as this girl stepped into the Magic Council, she smiled brightly.
Then…
“Finally, I can let my bangs down~”
“And I’ve grown tired of this dress~”
The white-haired girl loosened the hairband tying her bangs into a high brush, letting her bangs fall over her forehead. Instantly, her demeanor changed, as if she were a different person.
“Requip!”
The girl tied her long hair into a ponytail, securing it with a band, and activated her Requip magic, changing from her simple dress into a sexy sports bra and hot pants.
In an instant, the girl next door transformed into a street rebel.
“I’m back~”
Mirajane stretched, smiling brightly. Unlike in the original story, where she had suppressed her combat spirit, she now kept her gentle demeanor inside the guild and used violence to subdue enemies outside.
Both the gentle and fierce Mirajane were true aspects of her character, like her human and demon forms.
“This girl is indeed dangerous…”
Next to Mirajane stood another beautiful girl with long black hair, contrasting Mirajane’s white. She wore a modified kimono similar to Selene’s, her impressive figure straining against the fabric.
This black-haired girl was none other than Seilah, who had attacked Fairy Tail but was persuaded by Evan’s “art.”
“Precht…”
Warrod, the chairman of the Magic Council, focused on Evan and the two girls. He seemed about to say something.
“Evan, it looks like Fairy Tail was also attacked by demons?”
Precht spoke first, addressing Evan.
“Chairman Precht, as you can see, Fairy Tail was indeed attacked by a seductive demoness. She’s been subdued by my artistic skills~”
Evan smiled at Precht and Warrod, briefly explaining the situation. He also gleaned from Precht’s words that Tartaros had also attacked the Magic Council.
“I see, so Fairy Tail was also attacked by demons!”
“Just now, the Magic Council was similarly attacked. But those demons have been eliminated.”
“All those who attacked us were great demons from the Book of Zeref, members of Tartaros, also known as Zeref’s Library.”
“As the name suggests, every member of Tartaros is a demon created by Zeref, including the demoness you’ve subdued…”
Precht glanced at Seilah, speaking solemnly.
“I already know this.”
Evan nodded, acknowledging that he was aware of Tartaros and its members.
He also knew something Precht didn’t: the true master of Tartaros was within Fairy Tail, a demon who spent his days running around with stolen underwear.
Under Fairy Tail’s influence, the Fire Demon END had become a mischievous imp stealing underwear.
As for Precht’s claim of defeating Tartaros’ demons, Evan wasn’t surprised. The current Magic Council wasn’t the newly established ERA that could be easily overwhelmed by Tartaros.
With Warrod alone, Tartaros stood no chance unless their acting master intervened. Even one or two Nine Demon Gates members wouldn’t be enough to destroy the Council, as Warrod’s power was formidable.
“I understand. You’ve already subdued the horned demoness behind you.”
Precht stroked his beard calmly.
“I-I am not a mere succubus! I haven’t been subdued; I’m just doing this to return to Zeref’s side and fulfill his wishes! Now, you foolish human, obey my command!”
Seilah, who had been called a succubus multiple times, blushed and angrily tried to command Precht.
“Hmm?!”
As Seilah spoke, Precht’s body stiffened.
“Humph!”
But before Seilah could issue her command, Precht coldly snorted and broke free from her control.
“What?!”
Seilah was shocked, unable to believe Precht had instantly resisted her curse magic.
“Little girl, don’t use your immature curses to command me!”
“Compared to you, a weakling, I’m closer to the abyss of magic, more like a demon…”
Precht stood firm, his tone icy.
“The abyss of magic? Are you the master of Grimoire Heart, Hades?”
“Impossible, you should be dead!”
Seilah was stunned, nervously questioning.
“Hades is dead. What does that have to do with me, Precht?”
Precht smirked coldly, his eyes full of disdain.
“This is a trap…”
Unlike the reckless Jackal and Ezel, Seilah was sharp. She realized that the former Magic Council chairman Crawford Seam had deceived them, leading them into a trap.
“Alright, Chairman Precht and Chairman Warrod, let’s not fight with a succubus~”
Evan
stopped Precht before he could attack Seilah, knowing she had other uses for him.
Evan imagined introducing Seilah to August, saying, “Hey, August, this is your dad Zeref’s early creation. She’s got a great figure, much better than Mavis’!”
The thought amused him.
“Humph~”
Precht snorted but didn’t argue.
“I came to borrow the latest map of the continent. I’m heading to Tartaros to have a chat with those demons~”
Evan explained that the continent’s ever-changing landscape made their maps outdated. He needed a current map from the Magic Council.
“I have a map, and I know Tartaros’ location.”
“Tartaros is not far from here, about a thousand kilometers in that direction.”
Precht pointed the way.
“Chairman Precht, you truly are the master of the strongest dark guild, Grimoire Heart. You even know Tartaros’ location~”
Evan smiled, complimenting Precht.
“Tch~”
Precht clicked his tongue, finding Evan’s words grating, especially since Evan had dismantled his guild.
However, the thought of Mard Geer’s Tartaros being destroyed brought him some joy.
“Here, see for yourself.”
Precht sent the location to Evan, transferring the information directly into Evan’s mind.
“One thing to note: the entire Tartaros may be weak compared to you, but you must be careful of Mard Geer’s book. It’s the Book of END, Zeref’s strongest creation. Although I’ve never seen the Fire Demon END, its power must be extraordinary. Be cautious!”
Precht shared his intel.
“Don’t worry~”
“The Fire Demon END?”
“I beat him every day at Fairy Tail.”
“No one knows how to beat END better than me…”
Evan smirked. After the waterfall training, Natsu shivered at the sight of him.
“Uh…”
Precht was stunned by Evan’s words.
