──Today too, my friend came by the window.

Even though saying so, I didn’t know whether they considered me as their friend.

Since they could simply take the breadcrumbs, they might have dropped by to rest.

Either way since they were pestering, I spread the handkerchief as always.

I crumbled and scattered the bread with my fingertips and my friend started to peck with great joy.

As he was doing that without guard, I stroked my friend’s back.

His color was clear just like a painting, a small blue bird──

I felt modest throbbing on my fingertips.

My friend was pretty heartless. As he finished eating, he pecked at my finger instead of saying thanks and quickly took off.

He must have gone to play somewhere freely.

And then again, when he felt like it he would show his face without a doubt.

Together with sharp flaps, my friend flew up.

He flew away as if being sucked in.

To the blue sky.

That color was immediately covered and became invisible.

One of my friend’s feather dropped down as if a souvenir by the window.

I leaned my body out trying to catch it and immediately covered my eyes.

Today too, the sunlight was intense. The sun at the middle of the sky was brilliantly shining.

Even though it would be nice to have rain now and then………

The view below the window didn’t change for the better.

The activities of human lives.

The polished townscape that the whole world was envy of.

The tall tower I was in must have looked like the castle the kami-sama lived in right?

I rest my chin on my hand and stared far away.

At the green forest stretching out outside of the town.
