1777  Showing His Worth

Grey didn't expect Sir Astarot would actually offer him such an opportunity. The secret worlds belonging to Magical Beasts aren't something humans can easily enter. In fact, Grey was almost certain that the number of humans that have been allowed to enter Magical Beast's secret worlds can be counted by one's fingers. Magical Beasts and humans have always been at odds, so there's no chance that they'll agree to let humans enter their secret worlds. Of course, there are cases like Grey's where a top Magical Beast expert will invite the person.

Magical Beasts and humans were two completely different races. So there are countless treasures that might not be usable for some Magical Beasts, but for humans, they were world-shaking treasures.

Grey had never entered Magical Beast's secret worlds and only those in human territories. He was almost a hundred percent certain that as long as he could enter these secret worlds in the Inner Court or Magical Beast's Forest, he would gain unimaginable treasures.

"Will the other Clan Leaders agree to this?" Grey was excited about the idea of entering this place, but it didn't cloud his judgment. He knew that the other Magical Beasts' Clan Leaders might not be in support of this. He even knew one that would not agree to this, the Toad Clan Leader! There's no way the Toad Clan Leader will want to agree to Grey entering the secret world.

"You're not the first human to enter under my recommendation. Don't worry about it, none of them can deny you entry." Sir Astarot expected Grey's concern. Knowing what it knew of Grey, if Grey hadn't asked this question then it'd feel disappointed and would even consider sending Grey in or not. But with Grey's wits, if he didn't even realize that other Magical Beasts wouldn't agree to this, then it would accept that it overestimated Grey. Fortunately, Grey asked the important questions, which made it heave a sigh of relief.

It didn't hold anything from Grey. After confirming that the others would let him in, Grey started to inquire about the secret world. Sir Astarot told him all it knew. It didn't take long for Grey to have a general idea of how the secret world was. Just like the ones he had visited, each secret world had its own inhabitants, multiple races even. And he naturally had to make sure he didn't provoke these existences. Of course, as long as he could ensure his safety, then he's free to do whatever he likes. He was a Sixth stage Sovereign, and even among the geniuses from the Dragon Clan, he could still be regarded as one of the top experts. He couldn't be called the top expert as just like those hidden Factions, the Magical Beasts' Inner Court is also a very powerful entity. They've been able to produce multiple experts, and there were a few better than Grey.

Sir Astarot felt that Grey should at least be able to deal with someone in the same cultivation stage. It wasn't even looking forward to him being victorious; just surviving was enough for it.

When Grey battled a Dragon in the same cultivation stage as himself the next day to prove himself to Sir Astarot, he left the latter speechless. Not only Sir Astarot, but even the other Dragons were shocked. Grey didn't only handle the Dragon in the same cultivation stage as himself, but he handled him with so much ease that Sir Astarot almost wanted to confirm if the other party was truly a Dragon, and also in the said cultivation stage.

Since Grey would be one of the few to enter the secret world, he needed to prove himself. This was according to Sir Astarot. Yes, it was impressed with Grey's wits and boldness, but that's completely different from his abilities. If Grey is not able to even defeat a Magical Beast in the same cultivation stage as himself, there's no point in sending him to the secret world, it would be better to just kill him here.

He won't be the weakest person to enter, but on the Dragon's end, only those from the Mid stages of the Sovereign Plane and above could enter the secret realm. This isn't the only reason, but Dragons are known for their ferocity and also their superiority. Even against Magical Beasts with higher cultivation stages, there's a chance that a Dragon that's weaker can still hold its own.

One of the reasons Dragons are regarded as leaders, even among Magical Beasts, is purely due to their abilities. An average Dragon with a pure bloodline like Sir Astarot could easily deal with other Magical Beasts in the same cultivation stage as itself.

Grey didn't only handle the Dragon in the same cultivation stage as himself, but he handled him with so much ease that Sir Astarot almost wanted to confirm if the other party was truly a Dragon, and also in the said cultivation stage.

A Dragon with only a bit of high purity in its bloodline is able to deal with anyone a stage above it. Well, not just anyone, but at least more than ninety percent of those in the same cultivation stage as itself. Yet, Grey was able to beat a Dragon with almost a hundred percent bloodline purity in the same cultivation stage as himself. This was the same as saying that Grey could defeat a Seventh stage Sovereign with ease.

Sir Astarot didn't believe that Grey could achieve something like this. It didn't have any problems with accepting that Grey could defeat someone on the same stage or even a stage above him. But being able to easily achieve this is simply impossible by its thought process. An average Dragon could defeat a human at a cultivation stage higher than itself. Not just an average Dragon, but most Magical Beasts could do this. So the Magical Beast Grey fought against should have the strength of at least an Eighth stage Sovereign, yet Grey defeated it.

Sir Astarot had no idea that Grey had even defeated a Ninth stage Sovereign while being a Sixth stage Sovereign. And that's before he even awakened his fifth domain, his space domain. Now that he had awakened it, defeating said opponent in a battle would be easier than his previous attempt.
