Chapter 2459 Reading Minds.Killshot left sometime later, but not before claiming that she would drop by whenever she wanted to. Even long after her departure, the topic in the courtyard still remained on her and Grimsight.
It was hard to determine a lot of facts from their past, but Grimsight was opening up a bit more, and hopefully, with time, they would learn even more.
"Don't talk too much about Gods," Grimsight told them. "Not only are their Divine Senses quite strong, but they can even hear you despite not being close by. Not to mention, some of them can even listen to your conversations through Spiritual Sense."
"Woah!" Momo was amazed by the knowledge.
"They can listen to our conversations with Spiritual Sense?" Alex asked. That was the part he focused on the most.
"Some of them can, so you have to be careful what you say," Grimsight said.
"Do you have to be careful what you think too?" Momo asked.
"No. Your thoughts are your own," Grimsight said. "But there are techniques that allow others to read your mind too."
Alex narrowed his eyes. "You mean by searching our spirits, right? They can't just read our minds," he said. He had the Soul Search technique that allowed him to read someone's memories too. Surely that was what Grimsight was talking about.
"No, they can stand a good distance away from you and tell what you're thinking about," Grimsight said. "It was a group of demons who could do that, as far as I remember. They had this technique that let them read your Intent and understand what you were going to do before you did it."
"It was a technique, so even a human could get that and may have learned it already."
Alex was a little scared of the possibility of having people read his thoughts while he just walked past them unknowingly. "Can they read everything?" he asked. "Or is it cruder than what I'm thinking?" Sёarᴄh the nôᴠel Fire.nёt website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.
Grimsight shook his head. "I don't really know how deeply they can read our minds. But I fought enough to know that they were definitely reading our minds. At first, I thought they were gazing into the future to see what was going to happen, but that was not the case."
Alex was quite fascinated by this. Seeing as Grimsight was being so talkative today, he decided to ask even more questions and kept Grimsight talking.

"How did you figure that out?" Alex asked.
"I hid my thoughts from them," Grimsight explained. "It was difficult at first, but soon I had developed an Intent that stopped them from reading my other Intents. It took an embarrassing few years to learn it completely."
Alex was quite fascinated by this. Seeing as Grimsight was being so talkative today, he decided to ask even more questions and kept Grimsight talking.
Grimsight seemed to be in the mood, so he didn't stop either.
It wasn't until a few hours later that Grimsight finally decided he had said enough and stopped. By that time, Alex and the rest were pretty satiated in their curiosity as well. They could continue the conversation at some other time.
With Grimsight silent, Silvermist talked to Alex and Momo, asking them about Momo's invitation to the Alchemy God's group.
They discussed it for a while and soon came to the decision that it was best for Momo to accept the invitation. Silvermist knew that he couldn't teach her anything that the Alchemy God couldn't, and given that Momo would still remain his Grand-disciple, he could always help her if she needed it.
Not to mention, since Alex would be leaving this world in a few months, there wasn't a reason for Momo to not join.
