The quest named 【Heavily Besieged Maze】 was what awaited me after breaking through the second floor and arriving at the third floor.

Different from the first and second floor, this floor was just like a typical dungeon with a huge maze spreading inside.

The rule of this quest was simple as I only needed to choose the correct path and reach the goal. However, the monsters that appeared in the maze were going to be the problem.

Although this was the first time I've actually seen them, they're a fairly common monster in the other dungeons. Among those two, the most dangerous one was the Skeleton Magician.

The third floor was as expected of a maze. The width of the roadside was quite narrow, hence making it difficult to avoid the magic cast by the Skeleton Magician.

In addition, the skeletons also gathered their companions from around them as soon as they discovered me. I genuinely thought I was going to die when they attacked from the front and behind at the same time.

Resolving myself, I headed there while using [Stealth].

Although there were cases where I had encountered some monsters, I was able to escape from difficult situations by instantly killing them before they called more skeletons.

Even though I've passed through this complicated maze so far, apparently the last thing that awaits me at the goal was approximately100 meters of a big straight path.

Beyond the straight path existed a shining area–the goal. And since an image of the goal was shown before the start of the quest, I am sure this was not a trap.

"It's only a short distance to reach the goal but… there is no way it would be that easy, right…"

Numerous skeletons were enshrined on the straight path to the goal with several packs for every dozen of the skeletons. And if I don't surmount these monsters, I can't reach the goal.

"_-! These sounds are!"

The footsteps of hundreds of monsters could be heard from behind. Even though my [Stealth] should have still been activated, it seems they found me here due to some sort of method.

"At this rate, I will get caught between both sides, I have no choice but to go!"

Having made a quick decision, I ran to the goal. I have to break through these hurdles before the reinforcements arrive!

I launched an assault while using [Stealth], defeating the skeletons at the front and breaking through their line of defense. Thereupon, the enemies that finally noticed my existence immediately tried to counterattack.

I have to approach and defeat those Skeleton Magicians before they could release their magic!

With that idea in mind, I rushed ahead at high speed but about halfway there, that moment arrived.

A Skeleton Magician that was about 30 meters away from me shot a huge fireball that covered the pathway.

It was impossible to avoid. This means I have to take it head on_ if it were normal circumstances. However, I stopped, and at the right timing, I chanted in a low voice.
