Chapter 1447 Misaligned Intentions.
"This is Arcturus, he had... great talent, and he was my firstborn, like you and Elura, he grew up a mortal, and even though the advantage of this would be the chance to develop a variation of my bloodline that is equally as powerful as mine, it leaves behind a great weakness that would need to be corrected, unless they choose to forever be stuck at the fifth dimension, to pass the sixth dimension, you would have to bear a portion of the Memory of Primordial Life, and a mind that is not focused on a singular path would drown under the weight of it all."
Arcturus stood before the shores of the endless ocean of Memory, and the confidence in his stance faltered; he stood before the endless enormity of a Primordial, and he knew that he was nothing. He looked towards the heavens for a moment where it seemed that a storm was gathering, and then he stepped into the ocean, and he never returned.
Reality blurred, countless scenes seemed to go by and another man stood in front of Rowan, he was as distinguished as Archturus, maybe even more so, and he was not shy with the display of his powers that shook reality all around him,
"Ah, Selos, the memory of him is never far from me, he was quite special, and I believed that if there was anyone that would survive the weight of Primordial Life memories without picking a path, it would be him, but..."
Like Archturus before him, Selos saw the immensity of the tribulation before him, and he faltered, but unlike Archturus, he seemed to feed off of his despair, and his size began to expand until he grew so large that even Rowan could not see the full scope of his body, and Selos took a step forward and all of reality seemed to reverberate with that step, this was a true titan. He entered into the ocean of memory, and he never returned.
It was with this method that countless others entered the ocean, male, and female, their forms blurred as Seed kept showing him these memories faster and faster, hundreds of millions of individuals passing by in what should span a time frame of many multiple minor eras.
Seed had been looking for a child far in the past, perhaps going back to the dawn of the Primordial Era, and by all indications, he would always fail, he was simply too special and the methods he was using were quite unconventional, giving a Primordial bloodline to a mortal, and then she came along, Elura.
Rowan saw her now like he had never seen her before, her appearance had not changed, she was still ungodly beautiful, but not in a girlish manner, but of a mature woman, tall, proud, powerful and glorious, and even in her green and golden dress that made her appear like a queen, it could not hide the valiance in her stance. This was the first time Rowan was seeing Elura as a warrior. She had not lived a sheltered life in the least.
"Ah, Elura, True Daughter of Primordial Life, she who blooms and withers like the sun that rises and sets... Did you know that even if you chose a path, the chances that you will survive only increase, it is not an assurance you will survive, it only gives you a possibility of it, or did you think Elura was the first to pick a path before entering the Memory, she was not, but she was the only one that survived the process."
Rowan saw Elura standing before the shore of this ocean, she stood there for what seemed like years, and unlike others that had gone before her, she did not simply step into the ocean, instead, she turned, and her gaze found Rowan and Seed, and for the briefest of moments there was no hint of recognition in her eyes but then Rowan saw it appear as if the Memory of the future had crossed the endless expanse of time and space and Elura knew who he was,
"My son," she said, her voice sweeter than the gentle chime of a silver bell, and held such great strength like a universal storm, "the pain in your heart is heavy, and it will drown you when you enter this ocean. Do not think me cruel or you shall not survive if you carry all of that pain with you. Either accept the pain and let it guide your path, or let it go; you cannot choose to carry both; such a path is not one for us. This is the price of your power, and if your hatred of me ensures your survival, then that is a great exchange!"
