Chapter 1436 The Right Question
At this admission from Seed, Rowan went quiet; sometimes, he was so focused on his goals that he disregarded what the outside world would consider extremely abnormal, even to someone like Seed, to be nothing but a footnote on his path.
To everyone in reality, Rowan left the lower realms barely a thousand years ago as a third-dimensional immortal, that in itself was a rare occurrence but not impossible for those with powerful bloodlines, yet in just a thousand years he was already a fifth-dimensional immortal on the threshold of the sixth, how did that make sense? Except for him and Eva, who understood more of his previous plans than anyone else, Rowan had not used a thousand years; he had simply used a day.
It would be an impossible situation to try to explain to others how he did something like this and it was a good thing that he had already made plans for situations like this when they arose, however, it would be foolish for him to easily speak out his "secrets" even if they were all to be lies, so Rowan simply smiled, mirroring what Seed had said to him earlier when he asked the old man about his age and true power levels,
"We all have secrets of our own Seed, and I'm sure you will be able to guess what I did to reach this level so quickly; you can run it by me, and if there are any mistakes in your judgment, I will correct them. You did place me in a peculiar realm, and such results should have been partly expected by you." Seed grinned, "Fine, I will bite, not because I cannot wait for you to tell me yourself, but because it's getting harder to hide your presence from your mother. I guess that also answers your question, Elura your mother and I, we are Old Ones. I had previously given you the truth to this, but you were far too weak and ignorant to understand me when I told you I was a teardrop from the Primordial. With your present dimensional level, perhaps you might begin to understand what a Primordial signifies, and how utterly powerful they are, they are the embodiments of concepts taken to the limits, and even a teardrop like me, is born at the peak of creation, having the control over Time, Space, Memory, Fate and Destiny at the moment of my birth."
Rowan looked at Seed with new eyes, partially understanding the reason why he had restricted his power levels before Rowan when they had first met him outside the lower realms because the knowledge of such powerful entities at the time of his weakness as a third-dimensional entity would have broken his pathway forward.
He had been given the chance to explore his powers without the burden of knowing that a near-omnipotent being was beside him, and Rowan had believed in himself enough that he schemed against Seed and Elura, pursuing his interest instead of being afraid that any minor moves he made that was not in the interest of these Old Ones would be denied.
At least, this was what anyone else would believe should have happened, but Rowan,, unlike anyone else, could glimpse the future, and he did not simply enter the higher realms without knowing what was in store for him. He had gathered enough information on most of the Primordial Domains, seen the powers of the higher realms, and when he left the universe with the last Reflection a thousand years ago, he knew far more than Seed would ever suspect. However, the Old Man did not know of this and still chose to limit himself and Elura so Rowan could find his path.
Rowan turning to face Seed fully, bowed toward him, "Thank you for giving me the chance to grow. You could have easily changed my Fate and Destiny with merely a thought, yet you allowed me to find my path, even if it meant going against your Will." Seed paused, and then he smiled, not laughing wildly like before, he nodded, straightening his back, "You needed to find yourself. This was where I and Elura disagreed on the matter, she wished to channel your potential while I want you to unleash it while being pointed in the right direction, and I am thankful that you have proved me right a millionfold; even Elura would not be able to make you a fifth-dimensional immortal in a thousand years, and also accomplish the feats you have done. You took your Fate by your hands, and the staunchness of your beliefs has brought you to this point; it is only now that I fully understand what it means to be a Breaker... you guys are trouble, even the growing ones like you, or maybe among Breakers, you are an anomaly."
Rowan did not even bother trying to feign shock. Old Man Seed would never have mentioned that his old appearance was due to battling a Breaker if this was not a clear hint to Rowan that he knew of his status. Every word spoken by this old man meant so much more than what could be interpreted on the surface, and only with time could Rowan completely decipher them. He craved the challenge, recently, everything was becoming a bit too simple.
"When did you become aware of my status as a Breaker?" He slowly asked the old man.
