Chapter 1407 You Are Kin
Rowan could accomplish many things at that stretch of time, much less the Primordial of Time himself, and among the many things this Primordial might have done in the brief moment of his appearance, Rowan had just discovered one of them; he was trying to revitalize his Bloodline Source. The purpose of this was unknown, but if Primordial Time was allowed to succeed in his return, Reality as it was known would be over.
'Is this what it means? To be an Eclipsed Creator. There must be a reason why I am always in the right places to stop events that could unravel reality. Ah, Destiny, perhaps I am seeing what this dimension is all about.'
Although all of his actions were altruistic, Rowan could not deny that he had been able to put down some dangerous monsters in his lifetime. From the Reflections of the Eye of Time to preventing the birth of Thenos. Everything he had done was for his personal gain, but in doing so, he had taken down a great number of dangers, and the implications of his actions would ripple across existence and eternity. He had just never acknowledged it.
Without his presence in the universe, the Reflections of the Eye of Time, who had gained souls, would be able to decipher the secrets of the Primordial Record, and the machinations of the Third Prince and perhaps Caine would be allowed to sweep through reality. Thenos and the World Stele would have been an existence ending threat in a short time, and Rowan believed that given a little more time and space to grow, only the Primordials would have been able to stop Thenos.
Now it would seem that his Fate or Destiny was pulling him towards the orbit of the Primordials, as he believed that he was one of the few that had peered more deeply behind the curtains of reality.
With his discovery of the Bloodline Source of Time, Rowan had been determined to gain access to it and exploit it for all the benefits that it contained, and he had not yet made the conclusion that its revitalization might turn out to either be a great blessing or a curse. However, it could not be denied how important this Bloodline Source of Time would be to him.
Among his multitude of hidden powers, what might not be very apparent was the effect of the various Bloodline Sources that he had acquired after consuming the universe when he became a third-dimensional entity.
A Bloodline Source was pure knowledge, it could be seen as an important tool for any universe to be able to develop the living beings that it contained, and without it, no universe would be able to create supernatural entities.
From understanding the right DNA needed to make the hair on the head of a human to the organs that could produce flames inside a dragon to the bloodline talent that each species was born with, every Universe contained a multitude of Bloodline Sources, and Rowan had inherited all of them when he assimilated his universe. If he continued to assimilate all the universes he had just acquired then he would be able to gain more Bloodline Sources.
All the knowledge he had gained from assimilating a Bloodline Source was extremely important. When Rowan conquered the Supreme Circle, one of the foundations that he needed to achieve this feat was the knowledge he had gained from all the Bloodline Sources under his control. If he could gain such a massive benefit from the Bloodline Sources of a universe, how much more could he gain from those of Primordial Time?
The previous Eye of Time had been led by the nose because of its desire to claim the Bloodline Source of Time, which made it susceptible to Rowan's manipulation. Rowan was also greatly interested in this power, but the only problem he had was that after gaining the bloodline of Time, he had been unable to reach the Bloodline Source again, although he believed that in time he might figure out how to do it, he was not very enthusiastic about the prospect.
With the aid of the Eye of Time, he might have been able to find a way towards this unknown dimension, but Rowan would be foolish to even contemplate working with the crazed Eye of Time, and even the new variant was no better.
Nonetheless, he had seen a doorway open for him, and Vyraak would be his ticket to this place. Primordial Time was playing the long game, but Rowan had just hitched a ride under his banner.
