Afterword
Hey, this is Sunsunsun, whose brain exploded after repeatedly writing afterwords that exceeded ten pages. Therefore, I decided to be a huge idiot and include a short story at the end, as if this were some sort of paperback comic book.
This is probably…no, almost definitely the first time a light novel has ever tried something like this in history. Yep. There isn’t another author dumb enough to do something like this. I mean, it’s probably rare just to find an author who doesn’t keep count of how many pages he has written until after he’s done, like, “Oh, crap! I still need to write a dozen or so more pages of material!” Plus, I doubt there are that many people who would go out of their way to write a short story just to make sure there are no ads at the end of the book, either. I bet there are going to be more than a few authors who are wondering why I’m in such a good mood after I submit my drafts to the editor…
Anyway, that’s why I want to apologize to the few who believe that the afterword’s the most important part, because this time, the afterword’s going to be short! It’s going to be short and hard to find! So starting next volume, make sure to start reading from the first page and not skipping straight to the afterword!
Anyway, I guess I should write something at least mildly interesting here, so let’s talk about the class attraction that Masha and Chisaki did. That was actually something we did back when I was a student. So let me take a moment to apologize to all of those in the magician bar business for giving away one of your secrets. I made sure not to get into too much detail, so please cut me some slack. No, I said “some slack!” Not “in half!” Nooo! Don’t put me in the box and saw me in half! That’s a real saw! Ahhh—
Ahem. Now, allow me to express a few words of gratitude. First, I would like to thank my editor Miyakawa, especially since I barely finished by the deadline, for always giving me great advice and for always looking out for me.
I would also like to say thanks to ever-so-busy Momoco for the beautiful, artistic (and not the least bit lewd) illustrations. I’m really sorry for always making such particular requests about the smallest things. With that being said, the lovely illustrations once again took my breath away, and I’m sure they’re going to affect every young boy in puberty in one way or another. I personally enjoyed scrutinizing Alya’s beautiful legs. For their artistic value only, of course. But still, thank you.
Next, I would like to express my thanks to Saho Tenamachi for her work on the comics, since they contributed to a huge influx of new fans. Thank you so much for always drawing everyone so captivatingly. The scene with the socks between Alya and Masachika was so incredible that it made me snort. Of course, I mean that in an artistic sense as well. No lewd thoughts here. Anyway, thank you.
Last but not least, I would like to thank everyone who was a part of this volume’s creation and everyone who picked up a copy. Thank you so much! I am looking forward to meeting again when Volume 7 comes out. Until then.
By the way, who said there was only one short story?
