An Xiaxia’s hand slipped and the milk spilled with a plop .
There was no time to wipe her hand and she rushed out of the room right away .
Outside her room, Sheng Yize had a bag over his shoulder and was talking to Papa An in a low voice .
An Xiaxia trotted toward him . “Sheng Yize, where are you going?”
Was he leaving? Was he leaving her?

“Xiaxia…” He called her name in a low voice and couldn’t bear to see her like this .
He slowly cleaned the milk stain on her hand, then raised her hand and gave it a kiss . He chuckled . “Don’t be so clumsy next time . ”

She finished all those words in one go and wet her lips . She then summoned up her courage, stood on her toes, and pecked Sheng Yize’s cheek . After that, she ran back to her room as quickly as she could .
The girl nervously closed the door behind her and left Sheng Yize standing outside, looking dazed .
After a long while, he felt his cheek and the smile widened on his face .
