Walking out of the internet cafe, Sheng Yize marched forward while An Xiaxia stood still with her head lowered .

He frowned . “What are you doing there? Let’s go home . ”

An Xiaxia felt a warmth well up her chest . It felt so nice to be cared for and looked after .

She pressed the tips of her index fingers together and murmured, “I have to fetch my bag… I need to go back to school first . ”

Sheng Yize gave it some thought . “I’ll go with you . ”

“Huh?”

An Xiaxia was still hesitating when Su Xiaomo dashed toward her, dragging Kang Jian behind her . “Xiaxia, did you win?”

“I did . ” An Xiaxia nodded .

“Haha, I knew it! That’s why Kang Jian and I bought you duck neck to celebrate!” She stuffed a box of duck neck into An Xiaxia’s hands while Kang Jian complained, “I said I was going to watch my Xiaxia Wifey’s game, why did you take me to buy duck neck?”

“Shut up, you idiot!” Su Xiaomo mercilessly kicked his ass .

Sheng Yize frowned a little, finding Kang Jian’s “Xiaxia Wifey” quite irritating .

How was An Xiaxia his wife?

Su Xiaomo finished beating up Kang Jian, then passed An Xiaxia her school bag . “There, I fetched it for you . Shall we take the bus back home together?”

“Sure,” An Xiaxia replied, then remembered she had left Sheng Yize behind .

She turned around and forced a smile . “Um, we’re leaving…”

Su Xiaomo and Kang Jian had walked a little distance away by now, leaving An Xiaxia and Sheng Yize staring at each other on the spot .

Sheng Yize asked like a tsundere, “Why aren’t you going with me?”

He had no idea where that question came from . He simply knew he was very, very unhappy about not going home together with An Xiaxia!

An Xiaxia was taken aback . Her eyes then shifted to the luxurious Porsche a distance away and the look on her face was a little hurt .

They were from different worlds . Even if their relationship had eased, there was no way they could be together, right?

“It’ll look bad for you if someone steals a picture of us together . I’m off . Bye bye . ” An Xiaxia held her school bag in her arms and ran after Su Xiaomo and Kang Jian .

“An Xiaxia, you stop right there!” Sheng Yize ordered in a low voice, and An Xiaxia turned around in bewilderment .

He chose his words carefully and gave an alluring proposition . “Do you want to become a crew member or not?”

An Xiaxia bit her finger and nodded spinelessly .

She really wanted to go! Really, really wanted! She could see Rong Che oppa there, the person she had liked for many years!

Sheng Yize broke into laughter . He looked so attractive that An Xiaxia stood there dazed .

His thin lips moved . “And I helped you take Snowy away last time . Didn’t you make the promise then to do whatever I asked?”

An Xiaxia nodded, looking like a little fool .

“Good…” He sounded as if he had made a decision and gave An Xiaxia his hand . “Now, take my hand and come with me . ”

“To where?” An Xiaxia asked dumbly .

“Didn’t you say you’ll do anything?” Sheng Yize retorted . “So, why ask?”

An Xiaxia rubbed her head . That sounded reasonable .

She gently put her hand on Sheng Yize’s palm and his big hand immediately wrapped around hers .

“I’ll take you into the crew and you’ll have to keep me company on my way home every day . Remember?” Our scheming fellow guided her gently .

An Xiaxia blinked and nodded firmly!

“Of course . Then you must promise me to take me there!”

Sheng Yize smiled mildly and said gently, “Sure . ”
