Chapter 1855: No more hiding!
“If any Prima Deity moves even a single finger, I will kill him.”
Before anyone could grasp what was unfolding, Cain’s voice echoed across the heavens. It was so powerful, so infused with absolute authority, that it instantly froze the hearts of all who heard it. His eyes burned fiercely with myriad emotions—crimson flames roared within his gaze like an endless ocean capable of consuming the souls of even the mightiest beings.
An oppressive silence followed, thick enough to suffocate. Suddenly, a single Prima Deity, overtaken by instinctual fear, took an involuntary step backward—not out of defiance, but pure terror. That slight motion was all it took.
“ZNNNNNN!”
Not even a millisecond later, a sharp, tearing sound reverberated across the battlefield. The strongest Prima Deities present barely managed to catch a fleeting glimpse of a dark flash. In the very next instant, their eyes widened in horror as they focused on the unfortunate Prima Deity who had stepped back. A gaping hole had appeared in his chest, precisely where his heart once beat.
Absolute horror flooded the faces of every Prima Deity present. That attack was unimaginably swift, an assault beyond their comprehension. How could any of them possibly hope to survive such speed and precision?
Cain showed no mercy or compassion. With a cold gesture of his open palm, the dying Prima Deity was dragged toward him, helpless and terrified. Above Cain, a massive gate materialized—scarlet and foreboding, majestic yet terrifying.
The Scarlet Throne.
Its gates swung open to reveal a vast realm, endless and horrifying, filled with countless imprisoned souls whose tormented wails filled the minds of all who gazed within. It stretched into eternity, beyond even the keen eyesight of a Prima Deity who could normally perceive across millions of kilometers.
“I—” The dying deity struggled to speak, but Cain silenced him effortlessly, ripping the man’s Inner Universe from his essence without hesitation. Then, with a dismissive gesture, Cain hurled him directly into the boundless abyss within the Scarlet Throne.
Cain then turned his attention to the Evolution Core, the Prima Deity’s most precious resource, and with a single thought, it was absorbed into his own Inner Universe—specifically into the immense black hole at its center. The Evolution Core contained extraordinary amounts of energy, yet it caused barely a ripple within Cain’s newly formed Inner Universe. This confirmed its stability but also demonstrated that truly massive amounts of energy would be needed for further evolution.
Cain quickly set aside these considerations, and his gaze moved down before rising sharply. Instantly, his eyes grew colder as he sensed something. Without hesitation, he waved his hand, unleashing another spear of condensed gravitational force—this time aimed directly at Andrew, the son of Divine Calamity.
“AHHHH!”
Andrew’s scream filled the air, pain and shock mingling as he watched his right arm explode violently, blood spraying in every direction. Fury and confusion filled his eyes as he stared at Cain, screaming in rage, “I didn’t move!”
Cain glanced at him briefly, shaking his head with detached indifference. “Attempting to connect with the stronghold’s defensive system is pointless. I’ve already blocked all signals. Even if you accessed its full power, you’d barely scratch me.”
Andrew’s eyes widened even further, genuine terror overtaking him as Cain exposed his hidden intentions. Indeed, he had secretly attempted to connect with the stronghold’s system—not only to designate Cain as an enemy but also desperately trying to send a message to his father, Divine Calamity. That man was the only being capable of saving them now.
“Don’t worry,” Cain said calmly, reading Andrew’s unspoken fears with chilling ease. “Divine Calamity will learn about this soon enough. After all, I have no intention of chasing him. It’s always better when the prey willingly approaches the predator.”
Andrew shuddered visibly, a deeper wave of dread surging within him, fully aware now that Cain had anticipated every possible reaction, every desperate strategy. Cain’s gaze flashed with golden intensity, briefly acknowledging Andrew before deliberately turning his attention downward, toward thousands of figures gathered below.
Cain’s voice resonated once more, now charged with a fierce, inspiring fervor that echoed deep into the souls of those who stood ready—an army whose true nature had long remained hidden:𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
“No more hiding!” Cain thundered, his aura erupting like a celestial blaze, setting the heavens alight. “The time has come to unveil our true nature—to show the world the unstoppable force of the Scarlet Path, the one true road to transcendence!”
His voice surged, laced with fire and unshakable conviction. “Strike down the corrupt! Annihilate the defiled! Cleanse the unworthy who resist the Scarlet Path—and let their fallen souls become the embers of your ascension!”
A brief confusion swept through the gathered Divine Cultivators, but it lasted only a heartbeat. As Cain’s words fell, bloodshed erupted without hesitation or remorse. A Divine Transcendent Master’s eyes widened in shock as Rylanor’s hand pierced directly through his chest, emanating a terrifying crimson psychic power. The power of Concept surged from Rylanor, far surpassing the established limits of the Soul Realm.
And then, horror spread across the battlefield as the young man’s features began to distort and shift. He was no longer a pure human, but something else, something forbidden in the Everstrife Empyrean World.
“Hybrid…?” the dying Transcendent Master gasped, filled with revulsion and disbelief.
But before he could utter another word, Rylanor’s devouring power surged forth mercilessly, absorbing the dying master’s life and energy. His very soul and Alter Ego were helplessly caught by the Scarlet Throne’s endless hunger, swiftly assimilated into the boundless crimson void above.
Beside Rylanor, another Divine Transcendent Master barely managed a scream as Magnus’s sword plunged effortlessly through his skull. Magnus’s eyes remained cold, detached, and emotionless, mercilessly absorbing his victim’s essence, leaving nothing behind but a hollowed husk. The fallen master’s soul was likewise absorbed into the Scarlet Throne, fueling its insatiable hunger.
All across the battlefield, a horrifying massacre commenced as holders of the Scarlet Leviathan finally unleashed their true forms and full might. Chaos reigned as these previously disguised warriors, loyal solely to Cain, revealed themselves and began annihilating everything their Lord had marked unfit for the new age.
