Klein really hadn’t held back at all as I could see the bruises and scratches that covered this largest wild wyvern.
It seemed that he had been beaten from head to toe, but the look in the eyes of the wild wyvern showed that it hadn’t given up yet. It was clear that this wild wyvern was still planning on fighting back, he didn’t show any signs of submitting.
Then when he was brought forward, he looked at me and Joan who he was right in front of.
The look in his eyes still seemed to say that he wasn’t willing to submit at all, but there was a trace of awe that was in his eyes as well.
That was most likely because he had never seen a wyvern that was bigger than him.
This wild wyvern was actually bigger than Klein’s wyvern, which was the biggest wyvern in our group. In terms of size, it really didn’t seem like this wild wyvern should have lost to Klein’s wyvern.
However, one shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.
Klein’s wyvern had thicker muscles than the wild wyvern since it had been well trained and well fed.
Of course the wild wyvern couldn’t match it in terms of strength.
However, the wild wyvern didn’t seem like it wanted to give up at all even though it had been bested.
The other reason it wasn’t completely suppressed already was because Joan was holding back her aura.
In the first place, this wasn’t something that could be rushed, so I had her hide her aura for now. It was only when the time was right that we should use that aura to suppress them.
"Submit or die." I said while standing on Joan’s head.
The wild wyvern was taken aback when he heard this.
He certainly never would have imagined that a human like me would say something like this to a mighty wyvern like him.
When he came back to his senses, it seemed like the wild wyvern wanted to curse at me.
Only he wasn’t able to do so since he was completely held down by Klein’s wyvern and another wyvern. He was even being forced onto his knees by the two of them, so he could only look up at me.
Though this wild wyvern couldn’t move, it was clear by the look in his eyes that he didn’t seem to want to submit. It was clear by the look in his eyes that he was planning on fighting until the very end.
Then it seemed that it was time for another tactic.
With a wave of my hand, the others brought over the first wild wyvern that we subdued.
When that first wild wyvern saw that the rest of its pack had been beaten up like it did, it finally seemed to understand its fate. There was a look of resignation that appeared in the eyes of that wild wyvern.
But before we could do anything, the largest wild wyvern seemed to become agitated after seeing that first wild wyvern being brought over.
It was almost as if he had been enraged by the sight of the first wild wyvern.
Only it didn’t seem like that rage was aimed at the first wild wyvern, that rage seemed to be aimed at the ones that were holding down the first wild wyvern.
This rage was actually enough to give him a burst of strength that allowed him to break free of the grasps of Klein and the others. As soon as he broke free of their grasps, he immediately came forward towards Joan.
With the way that we acted, the largest wild wyvern could tell that we were the ones that were in charge.
So he was aiming to capture us or harm us so that he would be able to negotiate or find a way out of this.
Just a single step was all that the largest wild wyvern was allowed to take.
After that first step, there was this pressure that fell onto this largest wild wyvern and he was slammed down into the ground. He just wasn’t able to do a single thing as the pressure from Joan’s aura suppressed him.
This wasn’t a normal form of suppression, it was a form of bloodline suppression that the largest wild wyvern just couldn’t fight against.
Unless he was able to break free of the bindings of his bloodline and evolve his bloodline to a new level.
It was impossible for him to resist the pressure that came from Joan, the Wyvern Queen.
Once she suppressed him, she actually stepped forward and stepped on the head of this largest wild wyvern. She pressed down hard on his face until it was firmly planted into the ground.
I was surprised since I didn’t give this order to her, so this was something that Joan was doing on her own.
At the same time, I could see that there was a trace of anger in her eyes as she looked down at the largest wild wyvern.
It was as if she was angry with the way that the largest wild wyvern had acted just now.
Was it because he had ignored her as the Wyvern Queen?
No, I knew that Joan wasn’t that kind of person…wyvern in the first place.
After thinking about it, I realized what it was.
"It’s alright, I’m not mad." I said while patting her on the head.
Joan finally moved her foot up when she heard this, but she still gave a snort and turned her head to the side.
A faint smile appeared on my lips when I saw this.
It seemed that she had gotten angry on my behalf, seeing the largest wild wyvern act disdainful towards me had made her angry towards him.
I was her master after all, so having someone look down on me, even if it was a wyvern, was not something that she wanted to see.
And it was heartwarming that she thought of me like this.
But during this gap…
