315. Power Level Confirmation
I look around the cave and review the situation.
There are seven enemies in total. The twin swordsmen and an archer are out of commission.
One of the twins is still alive, but he’s in no position to battle anymore.
He doesn’t even have a weapon since I threw it somewhere.
The situation is currently at a stand-still, but the remaining four enemies are no slouch either.
The Ferris Huma who slashed me and another archer are still uninjured.
The sakura-haired mage, on the other hand, is at a safe distance, guarded by a large man with a greatsword.
At the back of the cave, I see five Lithuvar children tied in ropes and lined up together.
Their mouths are sealed tight with dirty rags and they’re all in tears.
From their faces, they don’t seem to know who I am, but those expectant eyes of theirs probably mean they know that I’m on their side.
Even so, they still look anxious.
But, wherever I look…… the pale-faced swordsman and Tallmann aren’t here.
Did they split into teams and the main group is on a different task?
They must’ve planned to keep me occupied here while the other team is targeting the Forest Dwellers.
All the reason for me to hurry up and break past these chumps.
Gotta keep in mind that the last time they were angered with, the village collapsed.
“What’s this, it’s still brimming with energy. Don’t you think your cut was too shallow, Nell? Come on, do your job right”
The large swordsman guarding the mage said.
That guy……

Barris Balladender……
His stats show that he’s just your run-in-the-mill swordsman.
He doesn’t have any skills pertaining unique arts, but with those numbers in his defense, attack, and speed stats, I’d say he’s on par with a Red Ant if I compare him to a monster.
It’s usually these kind of guys who have troublesome skills, yet his stats aren’t that great at all.
Well, he’s a bit stronger than the normal soldiers in their army, but I don’t think he’ll be a threat.
The younger twin brother had higher stats and trickier skills than him.
The large swordsman may be strong here and there, but I’m sure any attack he’ll deal to me won’t deal that much damage.
I only have to watch out for their coordinated attacks and teamwork.
The one I should really be wary of…… is that lady mage who Barris is protecting.
I face the woman behind him.

Norwell Nogmark…… a squad commander, huh.
She must be the one who buffed Barris up with enhancement magic.
She has support magic, healing magic, and heck, even a bit of offensive magic.
Being disrupted and healing the injured are both annoying. Maybe I should really prioritize in defeating her first.
No, not yet. I’ll save judgment after I’ve finished checking out every one of them.
Up next is that Ferris Huma kid who landed a clean cut on me. That acceleration skill he used was no joke.

S-Speed 398?! He’s unbelievably strong!
What’s with that abnormally high speed stat.
Though, I’m still faster, but maybe because of the support magic〖Quick〗, he was able to outspeed me and land a hit.
His sword-related special skills and titles are also unusually high.
Although young, he’s already proficient in using swords.
I may be biased on his stats, but in my book, he’s unmistakably a lot stronger than the other squad commanders I fought against.
They must’ve carefully selected which among their ranks to face me.
Commanders and captains from different divisions are now grouped together.
They’re different from before.
It’s not like I’m completely helpless when I’m humanized. I just kept on limiting myself because I keep thinking of later fights.
But, I can’t let this battle drag on any longer.
Should I take out the Ferris Huma swordsman, Nell, first? Or, defeat the commander, Norwell, so I can fight Nell without supports? Either options will change their way of fighting.
“James-san! Don’t stop shooting! Its reaction speed is faster than I thought! If you show an opening, it’ll kill us all! I know it’s hard to aim, but your shots can still serve as a distraction! And, Belmund-san, please escape while you still can! We’ll hold off the Ouroboros ourselves!”
Nell shouts.
Hearing his words, the archer was hesitant at first, but then readied another arrow.
The elder twin brother, whose weapon I threw away earlier, stood while holding onto the cave wall and breathing heavily.
“Kuh…… sorry, but I’ll be going now. I don’t want to waste my life here!”
“That’s not for you to decide. I’ve gone and wasted my magic on the likes of you, so there’s no point if you don’t waste it.〖Berserk〗!”
Norwell raises her staff.
The light from the staff hits the elder twin brother named Belmund.
When the light hit him, Belmund suddenly changed expression.
“Guh…… guuu~uu~uh!”
The hand he’s using to hold onto the wall crushes a rock that was stuck on the wall.
His bones should’ve been crushed after I threw his younger brother at him, and yet he was able to stand immediately, rushing towards me, despite having no weapon.
“Losing his mind is a bother for us, but this is much better than watching him turn into a coward, and struggling to walk on the wall”
Norwell said, chuckling.
…… That does it, you’re next in line to die.
