Such ends are not uncommon at Kimberly. You could even say this is a textbook example. And that is precisely why the events these six first-years witnessed could be in their not-so-distant futures, as well.
The things gained and lost on this latest adventure offer a glimpse of what will be gained and lost going forward. It depends on the individual to accept or reject this. Only one thing is certain: Not a soul can emerge unscathed so long as they continue on the path of the mage.
And thus, the curtain falls on our group’s first year. After a short break, it will once again rise, and the second-year act will begin.
There will be new encounters and unforeseen threats, all of which our protagonists will navigate with their first-year experiences under their belts.
And amid these busy days—the time for him to don the mask and make his move will finally come to pass.
