Chapter 992: Artificial Mineral?
"How did it go?" Loya asked excitedly upon seeing Inala place the Patara City Lord under the effects of Spirit Psychokinesis and Mental Case.
"I’ll explain once we’re outside," Inala said and brought the group to a spot a dozen kilometres from the Rumtara Kingdom.
"So..." Loya asked, slightly impatient as she nudged Inala to hurry up with the answer.
"To infiltrate that place you mentioned, a Minor Treasure is necessary." Inala said, "There’s one of these in every city."
"What are we waiting for then?" Loya laughed as she turned around to face Patara City, "Let’s go claim four of them..."
She then frowned upon seeing Inala not budge from his spot, "What’s the issue?"
"Listen to my full explanation," Inala groaned in annoyance and casually ducked to dodge a rock kicked at him by Loya, "For a grandma, your patience rivals a child’s."
"Oh, I’ll show you my patience, alright!" Loya gave chase for a few hours, gasping towards the end as she glared at the figure of Inala who seemed like he had just woke up from sleep, absolutely fresh, "I hate the Brully Race the most!"
"Too bad you weren’t born as one." Inala laughed as he sprinted around Loya in circles, from time to time stepping closer to her to taunt her, "You’re a slowpoke. If not for your overpowered Nature, no one would probably think you’re a Gold Grade Pranic Beast."
"Screw you!" Loya grunted and flailed her hands, only getting more incensed when Inala casually evaded her grappling attempts. "Stop dodging...for a second!"
"Nope," Inala let out purposeful chortles of fake arrogance, "Even if you have a few lifetimes, you still wouldn’t be able to catch me."
Shuwrak Zahara observed the banter as if he was used to it and eventually raised his voice when Inala continued to taunt Loya even after half a day had passed, "Enough!"
"Let’s get back on track." Veins popped on his forehead when he saw both Inala and Loya hadn’t reacted to his shout. Instead, they seemed not to have heard him and continued with their fight. ’Why did I even accompany this group?’
Shuwrak Zahara then eyed the Knell Clansman who went by the name of Pitorah. The latter had only woken up a year ago with a blank slate in terms of memories.
Pitorah was a name given to him by Loya, which in her language meant a noisy drum. Pitorah eyed the duo of Loya and Leukeu in interest, like a child. He then brought out his Spirit Weapon which resembled the eardrum in a human ear, and tapped it lightly.
A second later, the drum vibrated at a high frequency and then formed an indentation. It was an inscription of Loya trying to grab Leukeu, highlighting her frustrated attempts and the latter’s casual evasion.
’I am the only serious guy in this group.’ Shuwrak Zahara groaned and brought out his Tangible Millinger. He threw it at the duo, causing them to evade. Only then did they notice him.
"Why did you throw that at us?" Inala asked, feeling hurt as if he had been asked to cut his playtime short.
"Tell us what you found first before playing around." Shuwrak Zahara groaned.
"Oh, about that." Inala truly seemed to have forgotten about it. He reverted his Ten Storey Storage Lantern to its original size, grabbed Millanir from one of its floors to turn his right hand into a Millanir Spirit Weapon.
He cut it off and used it as an Information Slip before chucking it at Leukeu, "There, I put everything I gathered and analysed in it."
He regenerated the arm and cut it off. Condensing a Billakin Hammer, he hammered it and obtained Millanir in a sludge form, which he stored in the Storage Lantern. His other hand turned into Naran as Inala severed it, and smashed it with his hammer until it turned into powdered form, which he stored too.
His Storage Lantern contained enough of a mineral to turn one hand of his into a Spirit Weapon. he could always sever it and collect more of the mineral if he wanted to.
"This is for you." Inala threw a Billakin Information Slip to Loya.
Mystic Sumatra Art—Glove Slip!
"Thanks," Loya grabbed it and used the Skill of Glove Slip to access its contents, turning a tad disappointed by it, "The minor Treasure’s influence would be a problem?"
"Even my adult version cannot handle it," Inala said, "So, we need to figure out another way."
"Then, let’s head to the spot I visited the previous time I was here," Loya said and began to walk towards the Stromar Cliff.
"Are you sure we can survive there?" Shuwrak Zahara asked in concern, "We humans don’t have the defensive strength of Pranic Beasts. Even you aren’t as strong as your Pranic Beast self."
"It’ll indeed be dangerous. However," Loya pointed at Shuwrak Zahara, "We have your Tangible Millinger to protect us. That’s plenty enough."
