Somewhere in the Labyrinth City, a single human girl gave a sultry sigh as she sat by the window of her house. The name of this lovely young lady was Anna Kreiz, and at this very moment, she was being watched by her parents standing in the hallway.
“Oh, what’s got that girl so hot and bothered?” muttered the father, Huey. “She’s been like that all day.”
“Don’t you recognize it, love?” replied the mother, Karen. “Men can be so insensitive sometimes.” She smiled. “That’s the face of a girl in love. I bet Anna’s thinking of a lovely man she’s met.”
“A…a MAN?!”
Huey was so shocked, he sprang out of his chair, threw aside the newspaper he had been reading, and dashed into the room where Anna sat. All he could think of was the wonderful times they had spent together as father and daughter—and the horrid, wretched man who would take it all away.
Karen smiled and followed him into the room while Huey demanded an explanation.
“A-Anna?!” he asked in a mad voice. “Is it true? You’ve fallen in love?!”
“Father…Yes, it is.”
Anna blushed deeply but nodded, causing her father to squeal like a little girl.
“And what’s more,” Anna went on, “I fear I have fallen in love with someone I shouldn’t.”
“Wh-what do you mean? Who is he?!”
Karen remained smiling. Huey looked like he was about to cry. Anna placed both hands on her reddening cheeks and spoke.
“Not he…She. The brave, dashing young woman who saved me.”

As soon as they both realized it, Anna’s parents froze, and their faces grew grim. This was the fabled yuri of which the gods spoke!
At long last, Huey got over his initial shock enough to speak.
“…Well, at least it’s not some man…”
“Excuse me, dear?!”
Karen suddenly got a ferocious look on her face. While the two parents started bickering, Anna turned back to the window and heaved another heavy sigh, laden with love.
