"Mhm?" Mingzhi glanced at Davis, "So, is his physique comprised of a fusion between Yin Laws and Space Laws, whereafter it further fuses with Darkness Laws? Interesting…"

She was full of curiosity as she also used the fusion of Darkness Laws and Space Laws in order to use Devouring Laws. With the spiraling power of space and the absorption power of darkness, she managed to chance upon the property of devouring, which she finally used to comprehend Devouring Laws.

It wasn’t easy. However, this Venerable Hollow Knight seemed to be born with such a physique- no, a heavenly physique that was acknowledged by the heavens.

Mingzhi felt that her Devouring Laws could be considered an evil power since she hadn’t heard good things about them, but was the one used by the Venerable Hollow Knight acknowledged by the heavens?

She felt that it was unfair.

"That should be the case." Davis gazed at the Venerable Hollow Knight, "Otherwise, only he could explain what it is. Do you think he is nice enough to do so?"

"Probably not." Mingzhi pursed her lips, "But if it is what you said, then eventually, even I may be able to learn this- Hollow Laws if I can be a good student to second sister."

"Hollow Laws… sounds apt…"

Davis nodded.

With Mingzhi mentioning Natalya, he couldn’t help but wonder if she and the others who went with her were fine. The news that a multitude of inheritances that was lost in the Frozen Wasteland Lower Realm was about to start- spread far and wide, but because of him and Calypsea, it was drowned out.

"Is your conversation over?"

The Venerable Hollow Knight finally spoke with a somber voice.

"Well, it could be continued if you’re kind enough to explain your powers. My Mingzhi would love to know, but I’m also interested, so we can pause the battle if you’d like."

"What a farce."

The Venerable Hollow Knight flicked his sleeve, "Only death exists for you."

"Yes, death only exists for me. I will get her sooner or later."

Davis chuckled as he shit-talked, and the Venerable Knights could only glare more at him as if they were going to make a mincemeat out of him. They didn’t feel like talking at all, but with two versus three, they knew their odds weren’t in their favor anymore. But they also couldn’t retreat.

Knowing this, Davis gained distance from Mingzhi.

His action made them warier.

Davis didn’t worry about Mingzhi since she could hold out for a long time as a Level One Empyrean with a base prowess that was ten levels higher. With her devouring energy or twilight energy, she could break the layer limit with a Divine Technique easily.

"Come on, I won’t use my chaos-destruction energy on you that quickly. I’ll use what I’m known for."

Davis provoked the Venerable Hollow Knight as his reincarnation wheel spun. He reached out his hand and manifested the Spear of Damnation as he used his reincarnation energy, pointing towards the Venerable Hollow Knight before he pointed it towards Venerable Knight Damien.

"Your divine water is more annoying than Venerable Knight Lussandra’s constant harassment. It doesn’t feel nice to have a man constantly disturb you, so you die first."

"Die!"

Venerable Knight Damien launched himself at Davis, towering waves of divine water flowing out from his body.

The two of them clashed as Davis retreated.

Venerable Knight Lussandra glared at Mingzhi before she also left. The Venerable Hollow Knight also stared at her, wondering if she was a Divergent, as it was hard to sense her divergence. He felt that she was concealing it with his experience.

Nonetheless, he also merely glared at her before rushing towards the Divine Emperor of Death.

Mingzhi watched them leave before her lips curled into a wicked smile.

*Whoosh!~*

The moment they gained enough distance, she shot down at full speed.

"What!?"

"You dare!?"

Venerable Knight Lussandra and the Venerable Hollow Knight just launched an attack on Davis, but with Mingzhi heading downwards, it was instantly clear to them that she was going to slaughter the thousands of Heaven’s Warriors who were viewing their battle from below.

The ones who were Mid Stage and Late Stage Autarchs were already near their location compared to the ones way below.

Mingzhi’s senses locked onto them. She waved her hand, instantly splitting apart space and folding two different coordinates. When she popped out from the tunnel like a deadly wraith, a Level Eight Autarch roared with fury and attacked her with his golden spear. It blazed with a glorious light, seeking to end her, but with a wave of her hand, darkness spiraled out and swallowed the blaze.

The next second, the Level Eight Autarch was also gone, the entirety of his frontal body ripped apart before his entire body and soul was shredded by the extreme devouring power of Mingzhi.

Mingzhi’s wicked smile deepened as she surged forward, her body shrouded in a spiraling abyss of devouring energy.

The surrounding Heaven’s Warriors barely had time to react before-

*Ripp!~*

A Level Seven Autarch’s body twisted unnaturally as if a thousand invisible blades shredded him apart from within. His golden armor cracked, and his limbs violently ripped in different directions as his very flesh and soul were ground into a bloody mess before even they were ground to nearly nothing. His final scream was cut short as only fine dust remained.

Mingzhi’s eyes gleamed with cruel amusement.

She wanted them to feel it. To feel their bodies being torn apart in ways they couldn’t comprehend for the relentless pursuit her family endured ever since they appeared here. If it weren’t for them getting stronger day after day, she knew she would not be given a look before being ruthlessly killed, much less a pardon.

Another warrior charged at her in a blind rage, his spear glowing with divine radiance as he thrust it forward-

Mingzhi barely tilted her head.

The moment his weapon entered her space, it began to erode. The tip of his spear crumbled into dust, followed by the shaft, followed by his entire arm.

"Ah!"

His voice turned into a garbled mess as his throat collapsed, his flesh and bones reduced to finely shredded bits before the rest of his body followed, dispersing into the space as though he had never existed.

More warriors rushed in desperation.

Her body danced around them as she welcomed them.

A Late Stage Autarch swung a purple axe at her, entombing the power of space as it made the surroundings dense. Before it could connect, the very air around Mingzhi twisted, grinding against itself in a spiraling vortex. The sheer force of her devouring energy shredded the warrior’s arm before the axe ever reached her or its effects could even stop her.

He howled, clutching at the stump where his limb had been- only for his entire torso to rupture.

His body split apart in jagged sections as though thousands of invisible teeth were gnawing him to pieces.

Mingzhi stepped through the air, her black-crimson robe billowing, and raised a single yet frail hand.

The space around three more warriors collapsed. Their staunch armors were peeled from their bodies, their flesh stripped away in thin, spiraling ribbons as though they were being slowly pulled apart by a million threads.

They shrieked in agony, and then, they were gone. Not a trace of them remained.

She could hear their souls trying to flee. A useless endeavor.

Mingzhi’s smile turned sharper.

She clenched her fist as a ray of twilight burst at their locations. The escaping souls burst into mist, and evaporated into nothingness.

The remaining warriors faltered.

Terror filled their eyes as they saw her ruthless methods, but as Heaven’s Warriors, they had no intention of backing down.

"This… This is evil!" one of them rasped, trying to move forward with courage.

Mingzhi turned to him with a slow, deliberate tilt of her head.

"Evil?" Her tone was almost playful, "And what do you call when Heaven’s Warriors were chasing my family to the ends of the world and trying to kill us all?"

"Justice!" The warrior’s face contorted with fear as he roared.

"Die~" Mingzhi softly swung her hand.

The space around him twisted, forming an invisible grinder.

However, the spatial devouring was suddenly broken as a green-robed fairy with blue hair abruptly appeared with her verdant wings encompassing that helpless Heaven’s Warrior.

Mingzhi’s brows squinted as she saw Venerable Knight Lussandra.

However, when she turned to the skies and activated her ocular arts, her black eyes locked onto Venerable Knight Lussandra, who was still battling Davis.

Mingzhi returned her gaze to the Lussandra in front of her and frowned, "An avatar shouldn’t be able to split or produce any kind of additional body. Are you a technique? Seeing that you didn’t use it until now, is it a self-sacrificial technique?
