Davis had his arms spread, chaotic silvery-gray energy on his right hand, and destructive crimson energy on his left hand. He possessed an expression of absolute joy, even ecstasy, after he unleashed that punch and mocked the Venerable Knights.

Only the heavens could tell how much he suppressed himself from unleashing a punch of this caliber as he didn’t use chaotic-destruction energy for fear of collapsing Stella’s mini-realm and bringing trouble to his family if he used it outside because he had a premonition space would be destroyed to this degree.

He now saw that space wasn’t actually repairing.

No, it was repairing, but it was extremely slow. By this rate, he guessed it would take nearly four years for the spatial storm to disappear and twelve years for it to stitch back to normalcy again. The combination of chaos and destruction energy left a remnant apocalypse where space was unable to repair itself.

It seemed like the implosion of chaos and destruction energy was its bane.

Davis knew what he did when he threw a punch carrying chaos-destruction energy wasn’t a fusion.

However, was it even a combination?

Davis couldn’t tell because he was just keeping chaos and destruction from imploding until the last second. His Chaotic Genesis Physique was the anchor that kept the chaos-destruction energy at an equilibrium. The terrifying nature of the reaction between the two wasn’t something he could comprehend at his current level, so he was all the more fearful of these two energies but now, he was facing the Venerable Knights where he couldn’t dare not use his full power.

Even though it was just raw energy, that one punch took away ten percent of his immortal martial energy just like that.

He was facing nine- no, eight Venerable Knights, so he supposed that there was enough energy for all of them, but he had no intention of obliterating them fast this time around.

’What a terrifying prowess… even when using chaos techniques, I can only near twenty levels higher and a bit higher for using destruction energy techniques because it obviously is an offensive Law, but… to think that the implosion of these two energies results in a prowess as much as twenty-three or even twenty-four levels higher…’

Davis was experiencing absolute euphoria at this moment because not even the Celestial Transcendent had the slightest mastery over the usage of these two energies. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have survived his Immortal King Heavenly Tribulation. After all, he was only able to kill the Celestial Transcendent because the other party had a taste of destruction energy mixing with his chaos energy, causing a terrifying implosion that shattered the Celestial Transcendent.

Now, he could only imagine what a combination or fusion would be like.

Perhaps this was really the combination prowess of Chaos Laws and Destruction Laws, and he just didn’t know it.

In any case, he slowly calmed and brought his sensations back to normalcy.

"Why so silent? Do you people no longer have the confidence to take me down in this layer?"

Davis’s expression grew wild.

"Insolent!" The Venerable Hollow Knight growled as he moved forward.

The others followed him, knowing only the Venerable Hollow Knight could defeat him at this point due to his physique’s strange nature.

"Do you want to take this up?"

Davis pointed to the skies- no, the vast space above the realm with a smug look, "I don’t want to destroy the realm I am supposed to live in for the next few years, you see. You people also don’t want the innocents to die, no?"

"…"

The Venerable Hollow Knight stopped as his expression churned.

Right now, they managed to stop the spatial collapse from expanding, but if left unchecked after another punch of that chaos-destruction energy, they couldn’t imagine the catastrophe he would cause. The spatial collapse might extend endlessly with more of those attacks, ultimately engulfing the entire Lower Realm.

Even now, the spatial collapse drove a wedge up and down since they were only able to stop it from the sides. Checking with their soul sense, they saw it grew over twenty times by the time they managed to cover it with their energies, so this region was now covered by a hollow spatial void that appeared like a giant wall and the spatial storm churning out from inside was extremely violent, enough to kill Mid Stage Empyreans easily.

They couldn’t allow such destruction to take place during their watch, or their reputations would be down in the gutter.

Still, if they managed to defeat the Divine Emperor of Death, then the sacrifice would be worth it. However— they started to lack confidence because he was a perpetual soul. Killing him was nearly impossible. Weakening him was no longer as easy as they thought, and he could be capable of destroying the seal if he actually ended up using that terrifying power against it.

Its properties were unknown, but they could see it was an absolute bane to space, at the very least.

Davis didn’t wait for their approval.

He began ascending while having his hands folded as though he was completely looking down on them.

The Venerable Knights followed him up as they quickly tried to surround him again. They couldn’t have him escape.

Davis didn’t know how far he could ascend, but the Covenant would warn him, so he wasn’t worried. His altitude increased tremendously as he traversed at a speed of nearly three hundred million kilometers per second. He looked down and saw them following him at nearly the same speed, but Davis’s lips curled as he could crank up more speed from his body.

He imagined only that female Venerable Knight named Lussandra would be able to chase him at that point.

Soon, they neared the precipice of the realm’s atmosphere.

Davis felt alarm bells ring in his mind, so he dropped his speed and took a dive, gaining more distance from the edge.

The Venerable Knights also gathered around him and followed him down.

"Fools. You once again missed a chance to just send me out of the atmosphere and kill me using the Covenant. Is your reputation as a Venerable Knight really that important?"

Davis mocked them as he turned around and sneered.

He really couldn’t understand why they were not letting go of their reputation to kill him. Heaven’s Warriors usually weren’t the type to care about reputation when facing Divergents, much less Anarchic Divergents. It seemed like they still innately looked down on him from their stature as Primarchs. That was what Davis could guess.

Suddenly, he saw their expressions change as they looked at each other, appearing like they were in a dilemma.

"Oh?" Davis’s gaze flashed, "I presume you got the news of my people trying to conquer the Verdant Vale Lower Realm and invade the secret realm of the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm."

"So this is what you were biding time for." The Venerable Hollow Knight’s expression was cold.

The one who guarded the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm, Venerable Knight Aldric, had his avatar killed.

Venerable Knight Foredawn glared at Davis since he was the one guarding the Verdant Vale Lower Realm. He knew they were baited from the very beginning, but the Divine Emperor of Death’s prowess was totally above their expectations, and it ruined their plans.

Besides, the Golden Pagoda was just used to transport many Heaven’s Warriors here, so it was not possible to use it again as it would take three days unless they had the intention to overload it and potentially break it. There was just too much at stake if they were to try and block those two groups.

"Feel free to leave." Davis chuckled, "I’ll just kill every single one of you Venerable Knights who are brave enough to face me and go back home to the sweet embrace of my wives and chill until the Covenant is over."
