"How large is this world, grandpa?" Pearl asked. "How much more do we need to go?"Bai Jingshen laughed. "We just flew past the Black Mountains. To reach the White Tiger’s Palace, we still have a long way to go," he said.

"How big is this land?" Alex asked. "I would’ve guessed I would see an ocean by now."

"This world is the largest world among all Immortal realms," Bladedance said. "You’ll find yourself traveling here quite a bit before you reach anywhere else."

Alex blinked in surprise. "How large is it compared to our home world?" He asked Bai Jingshen.

Bai Jingshen thought for a bit. "There is an island in the center of this world that is neutral ground to everyone. We use it to train ourselves or fight other beasts. We call it the Fighting Island, and it is close to 50 times smaller than the largest continent called the Black and White Continent."

"Okay..." Alex said, wondering if there was a point to this factoid. He didn’t know how he was supposed to judge the size of these two lands when he had never been here before.

Bai Jingshen’s next words changed all of that.

"The Fighting Island alone is half the size of the 3rd Major Spirit Realm."

It took Alex a moment to understand what Bai Jingshen had said. When he finally understood it, his mind failed to grasp the sheer magnitude of this world.

The largest continent that Alex had any way of comparing in this matter was the Blue Silk Continent of the Myriad Spirit Realm. That continent was slightly larger than the entirety of the 3rd Major Spirit Realm.

And yet, a single continent that was 50 times smaller than the largest continent was already half the size of the Blue Silk Continent. That was to say that even 20 Blue Silk Continents couldn’t be combined to become as large as the largest continent of this world.

Alex spent a good few minutes wrapping his mind around this fact. The Black and White Continent that Bai Jingshen had talked about had to have been larger than the entirety of the Myriad Spirit World itself. That one continent was larger than most Immortal realms in that case.

Bladedance nodded to the side, remembering back to the time when she had first arrived in this world and was told a single continent was larger than the Split Sky Realm.

It was still an absurdly large size for an Immortal realm. But then, that was part of the reason why there were so many Celestials in this one world.

"How many other continents are there?" Alex asked. "Are they just as large too?"

"There are 8 continents in this world in total," Bai Jingshen explained. "3 of them are quite large, the other 5 small enough in comparison that we call them islands. The Black and White Continent is larger than all the remaining continents combined. So you don’t really have to be startled when you realize just how large it is."

Alex nodded.

"Why is it called that?" Pearl asked. "Black and White."

"Because this single continent is ruled by both the White Tigers and the Black Tortoises. The Black Mountains split the continent in near half, and everything to its left belongs to the White Tiger, and everything to the right belongs to the Black Tortoise."

"What about the other two beasts?" Alex asked.

"There is also the Phoenix Continent in the south and the Dragon Continent in the east. The other two don’t have to share the same island, but they also don’t have a land this large to share."

Alex nodded slowly. "So, how long would it take for me to travel to the Phoenix Continent?" he asked.

"Without a teleportation formation? About 3 days in a Divine rank vessel."

"Oh, I thought it would be further away than that, considering how much we’ve traveled and we’ve yet to reach your home," Alex said.

Bai Jingshen laughed. "We were actually quite close to the Phoenix Continent earlier. Well, not close, but about equal distance away from them as we were from my home. The receiving formation is placed at the southwestern edge of the Black and White Continent, so that it is close enough to all the beasts."

"So, when you arrived, you were as close to the Phoenix Continent as you could’ve been."

"Oh!" Alex realized. "Well, we can’t go there directly, so this is fine. I don’t even know how the beasts treat humans. Had it not been for the fact that we were near guaranteed to get teleported to the Demon realms if we let Heaven ascend us, we would likely not have come here directly."

Bai Jingshen smiled. "Then I shall consider it fortunate that Heaven stood in your way. I would’ve had to wait quite a while longer to reconnect with you all."

Pearl grinned happily.

Bai Jingshen began explaining how the beasts viewed humans. From the sound of it, they were ambivalent to them. The four clans, however, didn’t particularly like them after the war. They wouldn’t ask them to leave this world or even hurt them, but they would actively avoid interacting with them.

While Alex listened to the White Tiger’s explanation, he brought out a talisman and sent a message through it.

The recipient of that message was none other than Scarlet. Now that they had arrived at her home, he had to let her know he was there. However, as he waited, no message came back.

Alex couldn’t even tell if the message had reached her or not. Were they perhaps too far away?

"I can’t reach Scarlet," Alex said in a disappointed tone. "Is this world so large that our messages can’t reach her?"

"A Saint talisman won’t work at that distance," Bai Jingshen said. "An Immortal talisman... that’s hard to say. It might really be too large for it."

"Then how do I tell Scarlet that I’ve arrived here?" Alex asked.

"Leave that to me," Bai Jingshen said. "Once we’re home, I’ll find someone to send the message directly."
