Alex arrived at the center of the sect where the space stones floated above the metal dais that was the formation.

A group of disciples waited outside, waiting for their turn to enter.

"Are people in there right now?" Alex asked the elders guarding the formation.

The group of people turned toward him for a moment before noticing the Grand Elder that followed him. They quickly bowed in greeting before one finally answered Alex.

"Yes, there are some disciples. They will be coming out in a few minutes."

Alex turned toward the group that was waiting for their turn. He counted their heads and realized there were 12 of them. Since there were 3 spaces dedicated to the disciples and outer elders, he would have to persuade 4 of them.

"I’m willing to pay some spirit stones to 4 of you who are willing to forgo your turn at cultivating inside. With the spirit stones, you can cultivate on your own or keep it for later," Alex explained.

The group looked around at each other, trying to see if anyone would take the chance.

One of the disciples raised their hand, willing to take on that offer, but Alex needed 3 more to join.

"I’ll add in an Immortal pill that can fully heal you from any wounds, including amputations."

That got the remaining 3 to join.

Alex gave them what he promised and took their place as the next one to enter.

"You won’t have a long time inside," the old man said. "Everyone is only allocated 6 hours. So you will need to let me know if you need longer than that."

"6 hours..." Alex thought for a moment. He shrugged. "I should be done by that time. I can’t imagine it taking very long."

The old man nodded. "If you need more time, please come out or send Whisker out to let them know. They will accommodate you somehow."

Alex thanked the old man and waited.

A few minutes later, the disciples that were inside the spatial pocket walked out, clearing out the space. A few sect elders went in first, mostly to check the area to see if something had been messed with on the inside. It was just half a minute of checking before they walked out, allowing everyone else to go in.

They all stood in separate spots based on which space they were going to, and on the guarding elder’s command, they were teleported in.

Whisker arrived inside, on top of Alex’s shoulders and looked around. He hadn’t come here yet and was surprised by the changes that were in there.

"My senses spread so wide," Whisker said. "I had forgotten how large it had become."

Alex smiled. "Alright, time to cut up the fruit. I need to strip it down to manageable pieces."

Alex brought out the fruit from the storage bag and had it fall on the empty grass. The massive fruit was easily larger than the room he had been given and would’ve for sure destroyed the cliff it had been built on had Alex brought it out there.

The fruit was ripe, at least from its orange color, so it was time to cut it open and see what was inside.

The fruit wouldn’t be so easily cut, however. Like the tree it came from, the fruit was awfully tough too. Alex could probably punch it and barely break its skin.

He would need to cut it with a sword.

The sharp sword he had always had for these situations was now back with Bladedance who it rightfully belonged to. But thankfully, he had gotten another sword in compensation.

Alex brought out the black sword that he had long since finished cleaning. The black sword was not only sharp, but carried with it a feeling of danger.

Merely holding the sword made Alex feel just how strong the sword was. He could feel the subtle effects of Death and Darkness trying to reach into him like tendrils of a demon, luring him with its strength.

Even without Godslayer’s presence inside of it, the sword could most likely corrupt weaker cultivators in the True and Common realms.

’As expected of a sword created by the Artifact God,’ Alex thought. The fact that he had come across such an incredible sword was a source of both surprise and excitement for him.

He was also worried that it would be taken away from him.

Bladedance could very well ask it back from him so as to not get the sword and the spirit back together. That was what had killed so many gods in the past after all.

Alex wondered if the reason she hadn’t come for the sword yet was because she didn’t know he had it with him, or because she had been so overwhelmed with everything else that she hadn’t even thought of getting it back.

’She probably doesn’t think there is much of anything Godslayer can do in Hell even if he gets out,’ Alex thought. It could also be that she now trusted Godslayer had changed.

’Whatever, I should focus on my own task for now,’ he thought, staring at the fruit before him.

Alex pressed his hand on the fruit’s body, letting his spiritual sense enter its body. It took him a while to penetrate the fruit and figure out where the seed was.

There were a few seeds at the center, about the size of a human head. They were spread around the core region of the fruit, like the seeds of an apple. He needed to make sure he didn’t cut those.

"I should probably not use any strong attacks in here. I could easily destroy this made-up space," Alex said and simply stabbed the fruit without any fanfare.

He dragged the sword with difficulty, carving open the fruit as he did. Once he cut more than half the fruit, he dug into the fruit with his palm and separated it.

With some effort, he managed to get the fruit to split in half, either side rolling on its skin, the inside flesh ready to be consumed.
