As Alex finally opened a pathway to his Spiritual sense after so many years again, he felt a clarity he hadn't realized he had been deprived of all this time.
It was a feeling similar to that of a man who had been drunk for days and had finally found a chance to sober up again.
Alex reveled in that feeling for a second.
How long had he wanted this? Decades, really. And finally, it was here.
The seal around the Spiritual Sea hadn't been fully opened, of course. Just like the other seal, this too only had a small puncture; a hole that attempted to heal itself constantly.
Alex ignored its effects and checked inside with his mind's eye.
Alex was immediately presented with a sea of yellow fog that had covered this entire world.
Alex panicked at the sight and immediately jumped into his own Spiritual Sea.
Inside, it was as though Alex was standing at a riverbank in the cold morning of winter, the land covered at every instance by a thick fog that hindered visibility.
Only, this fog was yellow, and it devoured everything.
With the seal completely covering his Spiritual Sea, it appeared the fog had also run rampant in this section of his body. All he could do was hope nothing bad had happened.
"Go away!"
Alex's shout was met with strict obedience, and the fog vanished out of sight immediately.
Once the fog vanished, his Spiritual Sea returned to its gray color with the overcast skies above and the dark and murky water down below.
Before him floated two objects.
The first, a glowing ball of energy, fully white in color, with the waves on its body casting shadows on the parts that were supposed to be glowing themselves. It constantly undulated, never staying in one shape.
This was Alex's Origins, and from the look of it, it was perfectly safe.
The second was a ball too, but fully crimson in color and with definitions now. It was a tiny red infant, laying in a fetal position that one could easily mistake for a ball from far away.
This was his Blood Origin. From what Alex could see, it hadn't been affected either, perhaps because they fully belonged in this place as they were his techniques.
Alex stared at the infant's features. There were two bumps on its forehead already, a small protrusion from its tailbone, as well as bulging back plates.
An infant blood devil.
Alex remembered the night when he had nearly gone around killing everyone indiscriminately. He did not want to take that devilish form again if it meant not knowing right from wrong in that moment.
'But the power,' Alex thought. 'It's so strong. I get so much power.'
The devil form this Origin provided was just as dangerous for him as it was alluring.
All Alex could do for now was hope that the impact on his morality vanished when this Origin fully grew to be what it was meant to be.
Alex sighed in relief seeing the two things without any damage. Seeing the dense yellow fog the first thing when he looked back in here had scared him a lot.
Alex turned away from the two Origins and looked around in search of the last thing.
