Alex saw the two people who landed in front of them and immediately focused on the man. He hadn't seen this man before, but his presence alone scared him in a way that no other gods did.

The way the man held himself made Alex think for a second that he had a sword pointed at him, ready to stab him at a moment's notice. The sword aura around the man was strong enough that he didn't need to exude it for Alex to recognize it.

Alex almost thought the man's arms were missing because he held no sword at the moment. Even then, he had to be very dangerous.

It took nothing more for Alex to come to the conclusion that this man was the Sword God.

Godslayer made some sort of noise in his mind, but when Alex waited for more, none came. Considering that this was not the Sword God he had to deal with in the past, Alex didn't pay much attention to Godslayer at the moment.

The woman who came down with him was an older woman with white hair. Alex remembered seeing her a couple of times. She was there when the tournament started and had been present a few times around the Alchemy God since then.

Other than that, he also remembered seeing her in the room where he woke up after fighting Dumei. The Alchemy God had gotten angry at her for failing to do something.

He wondered why she was here and why she was with the Sword God.

The Sword God's arrival was met with little reaction, but people did get curious about why the woman was there.

"My apologies for being late," the Sword God spoke. "I had to go find Starsight here, and she says that she has a gift for the winners too."

The various people seemed to get curious at those words. "Surely the Fatekeepers aren't looking to hire alchemists too, are they?" the Poison God asked.

"I do not wish to steal away any of these talented alchemists, Your Deadliness," Starsight quickly spoke up. "I merely wish to use my abilities to help these youngsters."

A bunch of people suddenly realized what was going on.

Alex was confused by the entire situation. The woman didn't seem to be a god, as far as he could tell, and yet they were still quite respectful of her. Who was she exactly? And who were the Fatekeepers?

The Sword God turned toward the four alchemists. "Let me introduce you four to the one and only senior Starsight, the leader of an organization of seers known as the Fatekeepers. Today, she will grace you all with her abilities and perform a Divination for each of you. Rejoice! It isn't every day that one receives such a gift."

A wave of gasps went around the stage as people began realizing what was going to happen.

"Fatekeepers," Silvermist whispered. "Aren't they the seers that are more accurate than anyone else?"

Grimsight nodded. "Beneath the Divination God, they are the ones most capable. If I'm not wrong, senior Starsight here is a Divination Sage."

Alex was shocked to hear that and a little worried. He hated Divinations. Not a single good thing came out of them except for nonsensical prophecies and fear of death in the coming future.

Not to mention, he had secrets he didn't want the old woman to learn about. He wasn't sure what seers were capable of, but his future surely showed his secrets.

He would have to refuse no matter what.

"I am praised beyond my capability," the old woman said. "Sadly, I cannot Divine far into the future, considering how many I have to Divine for. I can at most see a century into the future. Even then, I won't be as accurate as I would like to be since I'm not looking for anything specific."

"You undersell yourself, Starsight," the Storm God said. "Do what you can. These alchemists will be honored to get a vision of their future through your eyes."

The old woman nodded and walked up.

Seeing even the Storm God talk so respectfully to the old woman, Alex found it difficult to bring up the subject of rejection. He would likely be hated by these gods and considered disrespectful.

And yet, he still must do it.

The woman walked straight toward him, surprising him. He hadn't realized she would be starting with him. But then, he was the winner.

As she arrived, Alex greeted her. "Thank you, senior Starsight, for this opportunity, but this junior must humbly decline."

The old woman was taken aback. "You don't wish for me to look into your future?" she asked.

Alex nodded. "I've had bad experiences with prophecies in the past. If possible, I would ask that you skip me."

"Young man, you do not understand the opportunity you are declining," the Storm God spoke up. "Seeing the future is not just to learn what is going to happen, but also to change it. Only by knowing where you end up can you take steps to avoid it."

The Storm God's words held a great deal of weight to them.

"Do not refuse," Grimsight's words flew into Alex through their spiritual sense. "You will make the gods look bad."

"But…" Alex wasn't sure what he could do in this situation. He needed a way to not have his future be known. If she saw him going to the Sky God's Palace and meeting the Sky God, she could most likely see him handing over the two trees as well.

"I must still refuse," Alex said. "My apologies, senior, but I truly do not wish to know anything about my future."

The old woman didn't know what to do at that point. She couldn't force the young man to accept a gift he did not want to accept. The only thing she could do was move on to the next one.

The old woman stepped to the side, causing Alex to feel relieved.
