Chapter 1384 Molding Dimensions (2)

From the moment he gained the Primordial Record up to this point, Rowan had evolved and gone through more bloodlines and abilities than anyone would go through in a million lifetimes. It was as if he was searching for something that could never be found, but he alone knew that it was simply because his growth was too ridiculous. In the last battle alone, he had grown from the third dimension to the fifth in moments, and such a vast change of his power base meant he was always changing his abilities as well.

Any single one of these abilities that he had controlled over the years was enough for a great genius to ponder and grow with for an eternity, but to Rowan, they were all footnotes along his road to Origin.

From a mortal to a Dominator of Trion to an Empyrean of a Universe, to a Child of Primordial Chaos, to a matured Primordial bloodline holder with multiple bloodlines to becoming the first holder of Origin, these were all the broad strokes of a life that had skipped through eternities as if he was walking across a room.

There would come a day when the tale of Rowan was known to all of reality, and at that time, it would leave a legacy that would be unbroken for all eternity, or knowing Rowan's character, then it might be possible that except for some special few who knew of him, most in existence would never know a man like Rowan could ever exist. A being whose presence defied all sorts of common sense.

Staff the daughter of Telmus who was now a fifth-dimensional immortal could still be technically referred to as a Dominator, and it was most likely that she would carry the traits of her bloodline until she reached the eighth-dimensional level, if she was able to, and this was the normal path of growth for all life forms.

No one could simply change the core of who they were as easily as he did, and even if they succeeded, then doing it once was more than enough to last as an achievement for a lifetime.

Only Rowan was above it all. He merely sampled from the oceans of power and found out that none suited his path and he grew too fast that he saw the end of their path and he knew that it was not enough, he desired more. The Singularity had shown him the rulers of existence, and that was the path that he pursued.

However, despite the many changes he had gone through in his life, making the jump to Origin was bound to be the greatest, because there was no one ahead of him who had walked this road, and he had to prepare himself for it.

He had to be prepared to lose something precious to him so that he could grow.

Unlike any of his bloodlines or abilities that he had gotten, he would have loved to develop the Tree of Desire further, not because of its potent abilities, but because of its significance to him.

"Change is inevitable. It is growth, and growth is painful."

With a soft humming sound that should not be coming from a tree that was larger than the sun, the once-green leaves turned brownish-gold and they began to fall. Each leaf contributed a soft chime as they brushed against the breeze that merged into a hum, and Rowan's consciousness nearly froze in place because he recognized this sound, and if he could, he would be crying.

When he was an energetic child who wished to play from dawn to dusk, there was one trick that Elura used to get him to sleep, and this was music.

Rowan's mind was too preoccupied with the endless possibilities that life presented to a young mind and any complicated melody or lyrics would only serve as a distraction for his vibrant mind, so Elura usually hummed an unknown tune, soft and gentle, and this song would flow through his body like the first glow of the sun across a serene lake, easing his mind, and making him smile into sleep.

Rowan had never asked her where she heard this tune from, or if she made it for him, but he would never have expected that he would hear it again when the Tree of Desire began to die, and in this instance, he knew that if not for the distraction of the battle that had taken over his consciousness in Doom Star, perhaps he would never have agreed to make this merger.

His mother's touch, her voice that existed only in his memories came across strongly to him through the ages, and this song was not one of lament or sorrow, but a song that was made to calm the mind of Rowan, a song that was made to give him peace, even in death, the last desire of the Tree was for Rowan to have peace.

Letting go of this tree hurt more than he could imagine, but he knew it was not over.

His Tree of Desire was rooted in his two Primordial Oceans. The Primordial Sea of Darkness, and the Primordial Sea of Ambrosia, and with his evolution to the fifth dimension, these two seas were massive beyond compare, and their powers could not be fathomed, but now they were beginning to vanish.

Massive whirlpools numbering in the millions and each larger than a galaxy appeared all through the lengths of his oceans of Aether as if there were millions of fathomless abysses appearing below the seas.

In the distance there was a loud crack, and the great City of Sheol, a place of endless wonder, began to collapse.
